$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('xerces', 'D')efinitely NOT NYC. They have too many soldiers here. There are guys with assault rifles posted at every major subway station. Just walking through grand central the other day, we had to file past 3 soldiers in full gear with these military dogs barking the entire time. It reminded me of a scene from a WWII concentration camp. Martial law is more probable in NYC than rioting imho.
I'm originally from NYC. While I can imagine having soldiers positioned in Grand Central Station, Times Square, Union Square and a few other major hubs, I cannot imagine how there could be enough soldiers stationed to cover every station through the system out in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
I suppose like with the Transit Police, perhaps they have a couple of soldiers on each train. However, in a riot situation they would be quickly overwhelmed.
However, I don't think NYC is the first to riot. On US soil, I would go with LA or ATL. Due to the gas issues, ATL probably first, but not by much.
