$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('trespam', 'E')uropeans are already paying $4-$5 per gallon and they've not come crashing down. I'm willing to bet that we'll make through $5 and even through $7/gallon. Speculative bubbles will unwind--but hey, that's the way it goes. The world made it through the great depression, WWII, and I'm not going to buckle under and head for the hills because--heaven help us--oil is $7/gallon.
Humm? $7 gal. That would be about $112 to fill my small truck. Figuring I could get by with two fills a Month = $225. Of course you got to figure total energy (heating cooling) + food costs that would go along with $7 gal gas. I say, if you have no debt, no kids & two incomes totaling $100,000 year - you would do fine. I find it hard to image the average Joe-6-pack to be even close.........
