See how this works? Its that word again, FREEDOM. Goddamn people are chickenshit cowards who cant make a single decision in life without wanting the government to hold their hand and tell them what to do.

Ah, FREEDOM: The freedom to pollute, overconsume, get fat, and run over anything smaller than you.. at least here in Aus. ppl don't try and pretend theres any deep principle at stake, they admit its just their comfort and ego at stake. But then Specop, just like GWB, will wrap himself in any flag going to maintain his delusions.
What about the freedom to gallop horses in pedestrian malls Specop, is that part of what makes you free too? The freedom to drive a wood burning tractor in drive-thrus?
Or is it just the freedoms that keep you snug, warm and far from the death that feeds you that you value.
Why do none of those who parrot the neoliberal version of 'freedom' understand 'responsibility'?
I suspect because they live infantile lives, ergo, toys are tops.
Invalid reasons. SUV's meet the same emissions as other cars. So how do they "overpollute"? What do you think is worse, a coal fired electrical plant or an SUV? What about a diesel locomotive or an SUV? What about a 1970's car or a 2005 SUV, which of those pollutes worse?
As for overconsume and get fat, what does that have to do with SUV's? I own an SUV and I'm underwight for my height. In fact, most people I see driving SUV's are not overweight. What about overconsume. How is an SUV driver "overconsuming"? Overconsuming what? I didnt realize this was 1980's Russia and we were rationed on what we can use. Do SUV drivers overconsume air? Food? Water? What exactly do you mean by "overconsume" and who has set the ration limits of what we can consume?
As for horses and tractors, sorry seen both on the road. Well, horses were to the side and but nonetheless its perfectly legal to drive a tractor down the street and you may do so if you wish. Its also legal to ride horses, although I dont believe you can ride them on the street per se but off on the side. Not sure, havent looked into buying a horse. Tractors cannot be driven on Interstates but otherwise they are perfectly legal to drive if you so choose.
As for freedom and responsibility, those tend to go hand in hand. Responsible people can be free. Irresponsible people are those who need togovernment to tell them what to do, what to drive, when to do something, need the governmnet to provide them healthcare and retirement and money for food and other items. And how is driving an SUV being irresponsible?
