I just bought a used Durango for 7000 bucks. I love expensive gas. Since I set my life up fairly sensibly, it matters shit to me what gas costs. I was kind of hoping that high prices would encourage ppl to unload their trucks. I unloaded my beater truck two years ago knowing that higher fuel prices would make it impossible to sell.

Do you really think that driving some other sort of vehicles would have averted this problem?

my life is arranged fairly sensibly also. part of me is wishing for $10 gas too, just to get all the schlubs and their chitboxes off the road so i do not have to sit in traffic. although, i know that $10 gas would basically cause riots.
honestly, it's been the best vehicle i've ever owned from a reliability and comfort perspective.

Nice compilation lardlad, but i don't think the repletes have smarts enough to learn.
None of the defenders of SUVs have advanced any reasoning that didn't relate directly to their own comfort and safety, not even their childrens well being moved them. Should such sociopathic thinking continue to be pandered to with tax breaks etc?
Am curious if non-SUV-needing readers think laziness or insecurity is the bigger driver in fans of auto-augmentation?
