$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('gg3', 'I') didn't even have to click the link, even the thought of it was too much for my stomach.

No, really... force yourself to watch. The true depths of mankind's horror must be plumbed.

There's just something horribly wrong about all of this. I feel as though I have been violated.

false bravado , whistling past the graveyard. Trying to convince everyone he's not nervous when everyday he feels the axe descend a little lower. This dude's about to receive what I think will be the first in a long string of subpoena's.

Ahh, there's something to cheer the spirits: Rove receiving subpoenas.

Of course he'll ignore them, and thence comes a monster of a constitutional crisis: Bush will say he's covered by executive privilege because he's an advisor to the President. Congress will say that he was acting in a purely political role rather than an official role and thus executive privilege will not apply.

This sets the stage for a contempt of Congress citation, with the Sergeant At Arms having the authority to enforce it by placing the individual under arrest.

Prediction: Bush will not let Rove go down, no matter what. Even if this becomes an impeachment issue. Personal loyalty in both directions, plus a ton of dirt Rove has on the Regime that would spill if he opened his mouth in a hearing.

What happens after that: If Congress votes impachment and then votes to remove Bush from office, and Bush does leave office peacefully, the system will have functioned effectively. If Congress attempts but does not succeed at impeachment, Congress will have effectively castrated itself and will shrivel into an inconsequential role before the Unitary Executive: very very bad, that road leads to further consolidation of the tyranny.

I don't see too many middle roads here. It's an either/or between Bush and Congress. One stays, the other goes.

He puts the capital "C" in Caucasian.

Yikes!

Karl Rove's father

Postby TheDude » Sun 26 Aug 2007, 13:09:41

Was listening to an interview on the radio yesterday, interesting material, and you have to contemplate the ultimate motivations for our being neoconned. Ever hear the story about how Dubya's sister died and his parents didn't bother to tell him - just kept on drinking at the poolside?

Essay: "I'm the proud owner of Karl Rove’s father’s solid gold cock ring."

And be sure to click the link, with the original story - complete with pictures...

Rove: Iraq Redeployment Would Cause Oil Prices To Skyrocket

Postby Cid_Yama » Mon 03 Mar 2008, 02:01:25

This morning on Fox News Sunday, former White House adviser Karl Rove claimed that redeployment from Iraq would cause oil prices to shoot to $200 a barrel. link

it's weird, the Z day film is obviously correct as this was as good as predicted. The US people will support their babies being killed in Iraq (and Afghanistan, soon Iran and Venezuela) just so their gas doesn't cost too much.

Rove:$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')f we were to give up Iraq with the third largest oil reserves in the world to the control of an Al Qaida regime or to the control of Iran, don’t you think $200 a barrel oil would have a cost to the American economy?

Rove is hardly the spokesman of the american public. Whatever americans thought they wanted in voting for Bush twice, he now has the lowest approval rating ever (as far as I can tell). Lessons have been learned. History is turning the page.

Better listen to him. He is one of the people that caused it to quadruple in the last four years, so he has experience. The question is, will it be even worse if we stay in there?

The Night Of The Long Knives is approaching. Heads are going to roll, blood will be spilled. I think it will be both internal and external. A war of of all against all, here and abroad, everywhere. Punks in the hood, suits, Soccer Moms with machetes, kids with Uzis, even the dogs will go berzerk when they don't get their Alpo. Poodles foaming at the mouth and ripping apart hapless groomers. Cats hissing, clawing at eyes. Rats massing. Sewers rupture, disease spreading, nukes launched and no more Slurpees. So who's going to give a crap about Karl Rove?

He'd perhaps make a sizeable meal for the unemployed, cannibalistic truck drivers and airline stewardesses.

I've often said that once the Executive branch finds it doesn't have to listen to Congress or the Supreme Court, it's all settled, we live under a dictatorship.
