$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ReverseEngineer', 'M')ost of the folks here have a fairly lopsided viewpoint that equates Poverty with Parasitism. Though bothered by the bailouts, they still don't really view Pigmen as Parasites if they are Honest Pigmen who just made their money through a good invention they marketed or got rich the old fashioned way, by inheritance. There is a cognitive dissonance with the concept that you get rich through hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, and of course its only lazy and stupid people who are poor.
Most of the folks on this board come from the cultures which were the greatest beneficiaries both of Capitalism and of Oil. The fact that both these things savaged the earth and led to outrageous discrepancies int he distribution of wealth around the planet still doesn't equate in their minds with parasitism. So when a thread like this comes up, its the Welfare Moms, the Illegal Aliens and the perpetually impoverished continent of Africa that get tagged with the "parasite" label.
Even among those who agree with many of my posts, you won't find too many who support my Inquisition style of Justice brought down as Righteous Thunder from God on the Pigmen. Its just a little too difficult for them to accept the idea that merely being outrageously rich makes you a parasite on humanity, effectively vermin in need of erradication.

However, as long as you have one crew of people here arguing for Fascist solutions that eliminate the poor of the world, I'll come back and argue for an Auto-da-fe and Spanish Inquisition that will REALLY do the job of eliminating the RIGHT vermin off the face of the earth

The Meek will Inherit the Earth, but the Meek need some help because unfortunately you can't just argue the truly Evil into submission, you have to fight fire with fire here. If you vote for Fascism, I'll vote for the Inquisition

You pull a Knife, I will pull a Gun. You send one of my ideas to the Hospital, I will send one of yours to the MORGUE.
That's the Chicago WayPersonally, I think it's pretty simple really...
