Leadership by the spineless. For all the waling and whining he did to get elected. Actually do something other than Rat Hole stim plan, I think not. Does this make him a nazi, jackboot, evil person like Bush was acclaimed? Or does photons of energy still emit from his backside?

I guess everyone expects the Obama administration to accomplish everything in the first month in office.

No....Obama's breaking his "no lobbyists" in government pledge and his transparency pledge and his bipartisanship pledge and utterly destroying his balanced budget pay-go pledge is quite enough for one month.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised by this. Set aside for a second the imperialism and the "false choice" of the American electoral system. Rove is the kind of guy who keeps secrets. He has dirt on everyone. You bring down a guy like that, you better be damn sure to get all of his allies as well, lest his secret dossier on you become public.

Don't you guys get the fact the damage has already been done and there are now bigger fish to fry?
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

Not that I think you're writing BS, but I would like to know a bit more.

Unfortunately, people like that don't advertise to the general public that they are keeping secrets. It's often not until long after they have died that the true extent of their knowlege becomes known.

But with a bit of experience, you can generally get a good sense for which people collect secrets. They are invariably near the spotlight, but rarely *in* it. They are in every group photo, but usually in the back row, or standing near the edge of the frame.

My statement is intended as a character judgement, rather than any specific knowledge. But watch some of the archive footage, and you'll see what I mean. His "superiors" talk to him, but rarely look him in the eye. It's subtle, but it's definitely there.

Plus there's his whole personality. Every time you hear the man speak, you almost have to ask yourself "Why on earth would they keep such a slimy individual on-hand?" But then, you instinctively know the answer already - "He knows something".

And just to prove my lack of partisanship, I get that exact same feeling from Rahm Emanuel. Probably for the same reason.

Teflon Karl. Really, what is the point of all of this. He is not going to say anything.

It helps deflect the public from the terrible situation under Ubs. Serves a marvelous purpose.
