Which seems fairish, excluding any belief in the paranormal, or construction of fantasy worlds (Doomerosity > 4 types might regard my faith in humanity and innovation as somewhat fantastical, but that doesn't count, does it?)
Doomerosity now at 2 (occasionaly 3, was 4)

BTW, don't let them win! Schizoids are jerks, they just prefer to be alone. It's not a disorder, it's a personality type. And if I may say so, a good personality type.

If the test is "not a diagnostic tool" that means it has not been scientificly evaluated, peer reviewed, and likely is a mish-mash ripp off of the MMPI...along with extra provacative questions. So it lacks validity.

Conclusion #1:

JC is wasting his time and your time.

Conclusion #2:

The test is "Crazy" some of you may not be.

I'm trying to get people to take the test in order to have data to work with.

Then I can look for a pattern, no data=no pattern.

So far I have come to the conclusion that there is no over-riding paranoid tendency on this site. Meaning that we are, in fact, not crazy. If nearly everyone scored high in the paranoid category, then Peak Oil is the ideology of the paranoid. However this is not the case.

My hypothesis has been tested and proven correct. We are mostly rational thinkers, peak oil is real.

I hope no one took my little side comments on the results of their test as indication of a serious disease. I am not qualified to make such a judgement and the test is somewhat flawed. (but the test is still good enough to provide accurate enough data to prove or disprove my hypothesis)

It would be easy to include a disclaimer on your first post, basicly alluding to the fact that this test, while using appropriate terminology, is NOT a real test of ones personality, but simply a "fun" item made up to sell advertising space and maybe sell perscrition drugs. (for therapy) I don't think the discalimer of the site is at all satisfactory in this regard.

While I'm not sure just how many would be naive enough to beleive they were completely "crazy" for such a "test", how others precieve us (indeed how we precieve that others precieve us) does influence the way we think and act. Group think/hypnosis/ Concensus reality is a normal human condition.

You can beleive or not beleive in Psychology, there is a case for both.

However, to twist a socialy powerful "science" so, is akin to Dis-information.

Think of a website that dispensed false medical information, would you use it to compile "satistics"? What does your status as a moderator here at PO give you, if not a modicum of Authority, the fact that this was presented in a serious mannor is what disturbed me.
