Well, nothing new here. Move along :D....

However, i'm not too sure about my schizoid aspect. I have a wonderfull time at work. Brilliant group of people. I don't think you'd see me smiling and yakking (when I should be working) more often than when i'm there.

I'm very suprised how high some of my things are in there.

But to be honest I think a few silly questions can in no way conclude your personality

Not surprising. I would characterize myself as rational, yet cynical, which is what this test demonstrates. Also, I apparently do not care what others think of me. Good. I'd rather not be vain. I've been trying for some time now to craft a better version. I still have work, but this is encouraging.

One problem with tests such as this online inventory is that they tend to overpathologize based on a few items although there may be some reliability (test-retest--means u get similar scores in taking the test at different times). My approach is to believe that the test indicates some tendencies, but as was the caveat, I don't believe a diagnosis can be legitimately made based on this short test.

The full johari window test is far more comprehensive, using 250 questions to test.

First off, there's a disclaimer at the beginning of this thread that says that this test is NOT supposed to be used for diagnostic purposes.

Secondly, who dusted off this old thread? I made it what, 2 years ago? After the early flutter of activity, this thread lay dormant for at least 18 months.

Thirdly, we finally have a real psychologist in the psychology forum...groovy.

Difference between 6/05 and now. I guess getting out of the cubicle and into the garden, in addition to furthering my education about PO and the way the world works, has made a difference, at least in how I perceive myself.

I will say this: that I no longer eat rolaids like candy, feel a lot more at ease and less stressed on a daily basis, have lost unhealthy weight, and find that the changes in lifestyle I've made since 'making the move' away from McAmerica have been 100% beneficial to health, my family, and my marriage.

I just don't give a shit about so many things that used to be so important to me. OTOH, things like oil prices, the subprime meltdown, the state of the American government DO matter to me, when in past years I couldn't have cared less about those things.

Vive la diference!! Or something like that.

Do you really want to post your "psychiatric disorder" results on the web? Are you not at all concerned that someone might use them against you? Incidentally (and very honestly), I scored low on "paranoid". However, I shall not be divulging the rest and I urge others not to.
