Global Flood?

Please think about it.

Where would all that water come from that would cover all the land.

Flood = yet one more bit of nonsense from the bible.

bible's version of the flood is nonsense, however there is significant geological and historical/mythological evidence that some sort of deluge occurred.

It is possible that all cultures that speak of a flood came from the same area at some time in the distant past, so to them, the entire world was flooded. Most likely, it was a localized event, like some sort of natural dam breaking or something. Then as those cultures dispersed, the legend remained, thus making it appear to us that it affected the entire world.

This is one of many possible explanations.

Raphael, a global flood would leave physical marks all over the entire world, but we don't see that.

Care to explain?

On Netflix you can find a "documentary" on the discovery of Noah's Ark back in the 80s or 90s. I suppose the liberal media conspired to suppress this info.

The amazing thing about all this is that people in 2007 C.E. still cling to the old Israelite war-god.

I've been reading physicist Michio Kaku's latest book Parallel Worlds which provides the reader with some sense of the mind-boggling size of the universe we live in. Imagine a 20 mile long beach and then think of just one grain of sand on it. That's our solar system.

An intelliigence capable of creating some so large, complex, and beautiful is not the petty, vindictive psychopath of the bible who sends people to hell for eternity because he made them gay or because he let them be born in a non-Xian country or time.

The flood absolutely took place and the following clip filmed over 4000 years ago proves conclusively that the Irish once were a global superpower (listen to the accents).

There are stories about a global flood all over the world with people than never had met each other. Jesus said the flood happened. Thats enough proof for me right there.

The Biblical record clearly describes a global Flood during Noah's day. Additionally, there are hundreds of Flood traditions handed down through cultures all over the world. 5 M.E. Clark and Henry Voss have demonstrated the scientific validity of such a Flood providing the sedimentary layering we see on every continent. 6 Secular scholars report very rapid sedimentation and periods of great carbonate deposition in earth's sedimentary layers..7 It is now possible to prove the historical reality of the Biblical Flood.

Where did all the water go ? The earth is 2/3 water, and some of the sea basins are miles deep. The great lakes are further proof. The way the grand canyon and many other canyons are carved out is more proof. High waters carved those out from the runoff. Wooly mamoths dead with green vegatation still in their mouths is more proof. They died instantly , and then froze. The climate changed drastically after the flood. Sea fossils on the top of high mountains is more proof.

The true source of all the great flood myths:

A SOURCE FOR THE STORIES OF NOAH'S FLOOD

Black Sea deluge theory

Ancient shipwrecks and telltale shells bring to life epics of distant trade and a prehistoric flood.

Matthew 24:36-39

Jesus speaking, " Concerning that day and hour, nobody knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood , eating and drinking , men marrying and women being given in marriage , until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

Watch the Hank video to learn what circular logic is.

There is absolutelyy no geological evidence of a global flood to be found anywhere outside of the brains of creationist pinheads.

Of course there are flood stories from cultures all over the world. Floods are spectacular events, and people love to tell stories about exciting things that happened in the past. Anywhere it can flood it has flooded, and people have told stories about it.
