OK Monte,

You are right, I'm off subject for a thermo discussion.

I would like to see the antimatter "negative entropy" process put into perspective.

I think it is the only step in an energy process where I have actually seen a decrease in entropy, going from the initial to the final state. Until this example was demonstrated, the best a person could hope for was an isentropic (no entropy change) process step under conventional Newtonian mechanics.

When you consider the process of making, using , and disposing of antimatter as a whole, the entropy of the universe increases. But a curious modification of the thermo laws is needed with the mass annihilation process. I would like to see the thermo laws made into one all-inclusive concept. :!:

Woody,

As mentioned, this isn't the thread for it, but there is an article that you should read RE: no greenhouse gases from nuclear

Combine a little history + religion + science + open mind = truth

Monte isn't god, but Raphael knows the TRUTH.

Entropy to be or not to be

Unread postby Woody » Sat 05 Feb 2005, 07:40:07

OK an interesting ramble on religion is presented, and another subject for another day. :o

So the discussion I am hearing points to religion and philosophy for the answers concerning the energy laws. After man thinks he has climbed the highest peak of knowledge, he is met once again by theologians, and presented with the same alternatives we have had for centuries.

In conclusion the tree of knowledge has no limit, and those that try to climb it can not succeed on their own. :)
