$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jotapay', 'T')here are a lot of hit pieces currently being run about Alex. This is just one of them. This one is pure comedy, except for this line, which is libelous:$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'J')ones and his cohorts offer no evidence to back up their fantastic tales.
Documenting his sources is Alex's forte, one which other alternative news sources, except for Raw Story, rarely do. I re-post many of his sources and evidence straight to this forum and people eat it up like candy. So this person has no idea what they are talking about, but it's obviously meant to be a satirical or humorous piece with its obviously sarcastic tone.

It's not his sources that are the problem, it's he's use of them. He isnt balanced about anything that he talks about. He is also notorious for interupting people who phone in with a different view point. Have a look at what his says about peak oil, global warming, swine flu, governments, banks, flouride and the list goes on.

Next time somebody here listens to him, take a note of his so called factual information then go and look it up yourself. More often than not you will find it to be wrong, partially wrong, exagerrated taken out of context or simply rumurs. I posted alex jones in a forum not an hour ago, talking about peak oil is nonsense and there finding huge deposits every month.

I cant stand him, my two cents.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('highlander', 'S')o for us rural dwellers, we don't have to worry until the census takers show up with their GPS devices to match mailboxes and houses.

I haven't read anything about that at all. What they are referring to, is the infamous red-blue list. Whenever the round up comes, one group, labeled a certain color will be killed before the round up, and the second color will be imprisoned and killed after the round up once the first round up and kill procedure has been completed.

I have not seen anything to verify this at all. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I am a skeptic and only believe what I've seen. Otherwise it's a possibility but unproven. The scientist in my demands this level of objectivity.

I understand what you're saying.

But do you want me to dig up all the direct sources, the first hand accounts of news stories, that I've posted on this forum that came from Alex? He gets the actual people who saw Marine checkpoints, the actual videos he got of US troops training to put people into camps who were yelling "I'm an American! I have rights! This woman is pregnant!" Have you seen the actual government reports I posted here directly from his site which label Ron Paul supporters, those who buy gold and silver, those who think the Fed is bad, those who believe globalism is not good, as extremist terrorists?

To ignore the obvious when presented with the obvious, because you can't stand the source, simply proves that you are a Darwin Award candidate. Cutting off your nose to spite your face. Stupid.

I have found his evidence to be correct about 90% of the time. He exaggerates about 30% of the time, sometimes mixing his facts. He's a one man show who gives away everything he does for free, so I give him some license.

like_the_dinosaurs, what are you doing for free to wake people up to the corruption which the government and corporations are committing? The day you do more than Alex Jones, please feel free to post all the criticisms you want. Until then, decide what beneficial things you are going to do for all of us. Because right now, you are a hypocritical do-nothing. You sit on the sidelines and throw barbs at someone who is fallible but is doing his best. You are some internet ninja who thinks you are doing something positive. You aren't. Get your ass out on the street and do something more positive than Alex and we can talk then. Until then, you are an ankle-biter who needs to go home and think about what you are really doing. Your methods suck. Come back and post what positive contributions you are doing for society and how your methods empower the common man. Until then, everything you said sounds like you sit and home and do NOTHING but tear others down when so much work needs to be done. Get a life.

I saw his last movie and some guy whas saying that the bildergerg group whas discussing how they could manage the last remaining resources in the world.

Truth is Alex Jones can't admit that he was wrong about Peakoil. if he does that all his credibility will be gone.

Same with mister bush. he kept saying that iraq had nukes and he was wrong and nobody believed him anymore.

the movie is Obama deception you can watch it on youtube :). I doubt anyone wants to pay for his non proven crap

He doesn't think he's wrong about Peak Oil. He denies it.

If you want to get so nit-picky, you have people on this forum who argue about slow and fast crash. Are you going to start damning those on one side of that argument too? You need to learn to take a bit broader perspective. He does document most of his assertions, so it can't be called "unproven", can it? There are many people who deny peak oil, and he decided to side with those who deny it and count tons of unproven reserves. I think he is wrong on peak oil, but plenty right on many other things.

Remember, this is the guy who called 9/11 in July of 2001 (Bin Ladin + airplanes + World Trade Center). He does have a pretty good track record, because all he does is read government documents, think tank papers and the news.

Even if he gets somethings right, his approach to journalism is pathetic. I can sit here all day and make predictions and eventually some will come true. Heres one. LA will have a huge earthquake soon. Define soon?. GM will go bankrupt. Whether he gets some things right or wrong, its not the point. The point is he arrives at his conclusions, with out taking everything into consideration. Peak oil is a classic example.

Well for starters. You know nothing about me. I have done plenty to live a more sustainble life. I seriously doubt he does it for free. If your going to make claims in a public forum such as alex jones does, then you had better research everything before speaking. Alex jones has sent out a message that its ok to burn as much fuel as you want because theres oceans of the stuff left. Not to mention he deny's global warming. He has done more damage to the green movement then i could in 10 life times.

So pull your head out. Exposing someone to the tens of thousands of people who are members of this site is a just cause i think. The logic that i cant comment on someone because the have apparently done more than me is a joke. By that logic no body could comment on prime ministers, presidents etc

Well everytime i see him make a complete idiot of himself, im posting it here. Im sure you will continue to post his apparent impressive displays aswell. For someone who denies global warming and peak oil, im surprised he is even looked upon with any favour.

Guilty as charged. I do stick up for the guy because there is so much disinformation about him, evidenced by this article which cannot be a serious piece because of the inaccuracies.

Alex should stay out of the scientific world. I completely disagree with him whenever he migrates over to science. He should stick to history and government/corporate actions.

His point about the green movement is that it has been co-opted by bankers who will implement a carbon tax, which he says will be paid directly to bankers, much like we pay our taxes to the federal reserve. I do not disagree with his objection to a carbon tax. Another way the government and corporations are co-opting the green movement is to require small farmers to pay a registration tax on their animals which they cannot afford, effectively squeezing them out of business to the benefit of larger corporate food producers.

This is corporate/government corruption and malfeasance. This is where he shines. You are picking on him for ideological differences. At least he stands up for something and does have a huge positive impact.

The world is going to run out of oil at a pretty well-established rate whether Alex opens his mouth or not. The point that many people here on this forum miss regarding Alex is that he isn't about Peak Oil. The entire world isn't Peak Oil, which is what you're making it out to be. You picking on him for Peak Oil is like deriding an athlete because they can't cook a world class meal. Alex stands up for the Constitution and Bill of Rights and tries to make people aware of government/corporate malfeasance and the New World Order.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('like_the_dinosaurs', 'W')ell everytime i see him make a complete idiot of himself, im posting it here.

You really want to do that? Seriously, srsly? You gonna get loved strongly if you go toe to toe with him on facts and news stories he provides. I spent about 2 months fact checking him, which is why I know. He is in the 65-80% verifiable range every day. His guests, except for that raving lunatic Lindsay Williams (who did predict the price of oil would crash, actually), are pretty much exceptional across the board.

Well what i have checked is complete crap. the way he comes to his conclucsions is the problem not his sources. I could write an article about mars being made out of chocolate and then i could be a source.

If he has done some good for this world then great. I see a man who doesnt really know how the world works and trys to paint it black and white so he can understand it. Looking through this forum now i can see there are a lot of people that see through his crap.
