National Geographic, among others. Red Hair Extinct. Yellow hair is next. Then blue eyes. Hopefully this won't occur, but we're headed like a spent .223 in that direction, no doubt about it. The pro-extinctionistas among us will rejoice at the death of yet another unique expression of Gaia's fantastic work.
Listen.... you can hear them calling out loudly for all to hear, 'who cares', 'we're all equal', 'what difference does it make', 'there is only one race', 'there is only one bear', 'there is only one tiger', 'there is only one owl, or one snail, or one what have you....', 'God can always remake what we destroy'.
Yes, we'll render 'em all extinct unless we run out of gas.
Speaking as a "half-breed" myself (depending on your point of view), I fail to see the analogy between tigers and humans. Reproduction should be a
human choice. People normally don't decide to have kids based on some sort of pure-breeding agenda. If we evolve into some globalized average of all the races, it's because each and every couple decided to do that. You want to try to convince people to revert into Spencer Tracy in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Be my guest. But you've got an uphill battle.
