$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('OilFinder2', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'H')e is absolutely right. $70 during a recession when $40 is a medium is a price shock.

you loose. :)

Ah, but we may no longer be in a recession.
want to buy my home?

No thanks, not interested.

It would make no difference if I had the money of Bill Gates, I still would not want to buy your house.

But why are you trying to sell your house anyway? Maybe, thanks to me, you've realized you wasted your time and money building a solar-powered hippie doomstead hidden among the redwood forests - no?

At any rate, no one said in an economic recovery all sectors of the economy recover simultaneously.

Is what funny? That I don't want to buy your house?

No, that was not intended as a joke. I don't want to buy your house.

Really! 8O No interest in it whatsoever.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'N')o. I didn't mean that at all. I wouldn't sell it to you.

Then why did you ask me:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'w')ant to buy my home?

If you have no intention of selling me your home, don't ask me if I want to buy it.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'W')hat I was referring to was the idiotic appraisal of a house you have never seen.

Well, seeing that you're offering your house for sale to someone you don't really want to sell it to, I figure you must be desperate to unload the thing.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'W')ho fleeced you during the bubble?

No one. I'm a renter.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'S')o I have to assume your handlers don't compensate you adequately for your efforts on their behalf? What a shame. Matt and I don't rent.

No handlers. Sorry. Anyone who is paranoid enough to believe that somebody would actually pay someone to post on a peak oil internet forum belongs in the . . .

Take this abuse without compensation? Why would I want to be compensated for taking abuse on an internet forum? If you really want to know, I think it's hilarious! :lol: And the more vociferously someone abuses me, and the more names they call me, the more hilarious I think it is! Obviously I've ticked them off by pointing out something they don't want to know, so that makes it really entertaining!

:lol:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'D')ude you have not 'ticked' anyone off.

Really? That not what you said 3-1/2 months ago:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'O')F this is a perfect example of why you are a magnet of general animosity around here . . .

But hey, I don't mind. This is easily the most fun forum I have ever posted on! :-D

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'O')ily I seriously don't see you taking this constant abuse without compensation. It would be downright kinky. Either your Napoleonic complex is more deep seated than even I could have imagined, or the reverse: you like it?

That's what I'm thinking. Also this fascination concerning Simmons appears to go beyond a debate of trying to prove he is wrong.

Please dante, Matt Smimmons has declared bad prediction after bad prediction, he made his own bed and as long as he is treated like a 'Prophet' by doomers he will continue to be criticized. As for OF2 being paid by oil companies that's just as likely that you or pstar are being funded by greenpeace, the earth liberation front or some other extreme environmental group hellbent on ending civilization.

TRYING?

I thought after his claims of divine intervention being the only solution to our peak oil problems back in 2005-2006, either it happened and we all missed Jesus, or that was already a given.
