Deer here in my part of Texas are currently a plague upon the land due to low population of predators (though cougar seem to be returning), so I'm not personally going to worry about them going extinct during my lifetime. If they become too few to hunt, we'll eat squirrels or grasshoppers.

We will often see a herd of up to a dozen whitetail or exotic Axis deer pass through our land. There are very few young trees or shrubs due to the browsing pressure from these animals.

And this is in an area where hunting is quite popular, and hunting of Axis is legal year-round.

While visiting friends high up in the hills of WV, an old timer told me that during the Great Depression, the deer population up there in the woods went way, way, way down.

The same thing happened here. And it took a LONG time for the deer population to recover. We have plenty now, thankfully. But that is due to current management practices. I can remember my dad saying it was a good ten years after we moved here before he saw the first deer track (that would have been in the early 80s). Since then, the numbers have grown, but before that time there was no hunting to be had because the population was so decimated. There's a lot more people living out here now, too, so I expect if hunting regulations are disregarded they'll vanish more quickly this time around.

Why do people keep using "decimate" incorrectly. It means taking every tenth man and killing him.

Wouldn't you much rather have a go at vegetarianism?

We're mostly vegetarian now; we eat very little meat. But a diet completely free of animal products (vegan) is difficult to maintain health.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('truecougarblue', 'F')ood = 2 weeks

I could go two weeks without food no problem. I've done 9 days before. The average person could go at least a month. A really fat fuck could probably do almost two.

This is assuming adaquete water of course.

Proper vegetarian diet means some milk products. Esp. ghee, milk, buttermilk and curds.

Totally cool.

Anyway, when you get tired of playing, you might want to relax with a book.

I want one!!
"Not for the faint of heart, the life-sized, gray-toned zombie will claw his way out of your garden plot or family room corner, pleading for assistance with the most lifelike eyes you've ever seen. His macabre expression is captured in such great detail in quality designer resin and finished so realistically that you'll swear you can hear him breathing!"

OK, I am a bit too old for comic books, but when I came across this torrent I was a bit curious as I am still a fan of anything Zombie, and boy was I blown away. I just couldn't stop reading this...
Serious doomer porn, not just because of the zombies, but also the social and mental breakdowns.

Anyway, it is a torrent, not sure it is 100% legal, but hope so.
It is for issues 1-50 of The Walking Dead.
You need a comic book reader for it. There are heaps for free on the net.

And yes, you need a bit torrent client to download this:
