$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', '
')You've got your own family as do I. There's more I could say but I won't. I'm not bad at the humor angle. But I'm whistling past the graveyard. My daughter is a vegetarian. If you want to know the truth, behind the jokes, I'm pretty scared.
My daughter's a vegetarian, too. She works really hard at taking care of herself.
PMS, there's lots we can be afraid of. Sometimes I feel like a warrior and other times I wonder if I'll just panic when things get nasty. But please, enjoy your life. We're at the age when our friends and acquaintances start to drop, out of the blue. And I could tell you stories from my work about things that happen to people that would break your heart.
An example close to my heart: My dad has COPD, a chronic lung illness. He needs oxygen around the clock and has become fragile, worrying about every virus that might come his way. My mom is young for her age, active and cheerful. Truth is, it's possible that my dad could still be here 10 years from now and my mom could have a stroke one day and it would all be over. I'm sure you could give examples like this as well.
Enjoy your days, my friend. We just don't know what turns our lives may take, or how much needless worrying we have engaged in.
