From hungary to scotland to ireland to this land we came long before the rest.
We made alot of native friends, established trading posts and charted the lands for those who would come later.

The first land parcel in Ky was obtained by my direct ancestors.
I am proud of this but also sad as I now see what has become of it.

They built and we will have to tear it down.
They sold it and we will have to buy it back.

Grip fast!
Never surrender!
Fucked is an opinion mate!
As long as breath is within these lungs we have half a chance.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hen I hand my love in
I'll be done
A handed glove
Hides the door

Half a chance
Half a chance
We still have
half a chance

Mr. Full, Mr. Have
Kills Mr. Empty Hand

Half a chance
Half a chance
We still have
half a chance

That's a fine thing. My ancestors kept moving west. My family tree goes back to Virginia, 17th century, before that to England. But we've been here on the west coast for 4 generations now.

I wish it were true that he could get me out of this mess - I don't wish you to be f..ked PMS, at least not in the bad sense of the word. What you do with a consenting partner is your own business and I hope it goes well.

that's pretty much it. Now why couldn't I just have a normal mid-life crisis? but no, I've got to put up with knowing that everybody is screwed. The Irish, too.

But see, an optimist would say you can have both! 8)

The fun is in the trying no matter what circumstances get thrown at you. That's what I keep telling myself. And, I believe it usually.

Wasn't it WildRose who said that it won't matter if her garden has food growing in it if her neighbors don't? Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to watching Season 2 of 24 which came in the mail today. Great doomer porn with quite a fine soundtrack.

Ha, journalist Will Pitt stole PMS' shit. Here is what he posted at Democratic Underground.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')pril is the cruelest month

I got to thinking about April today while trying to nail down whether Gonzales was still scheduled to appear before the Senate tomorrow. His testimony had been slated for Tuesday, but was bumped after the Virginia Tech shootings. Tomorrow, when he will appear, is the 19th, the date marking both the fire at Waco and the OK City bombing.

Scratch the history of any day, and you'll probably find an event wreathed in darkness. The thirty days of April, however, seem especially freighted with woe. An abridged list of dark April days is below:

=====

4/4/1968: Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights leader, assassinated in Memphis at age 39;

4/6/1954: US performs atmospheric nuclear test at Bikini Island;

4/15/1912: Titanic sinks at 2:27 AM in North Atlantic as the band plays on;

4/16/1975: Khmer Rouge occupy Phnom Penh;

4/16/2007: Gunman murders 32 students and professors at Virginia Tech before committing suicide, largest school massacre in American history;

4/17/1945: 8th Air Force bombs Dresden;
