$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Heineken', 'L')uke 10:2S-28 "Love thy neighbor as thyself, and love thy enemy."
You'd better go back to Sunday school.
Who did the attacking? All evidence shows the Iraqis had nothing to do with 9/11, and that Bush used the tragedy as a false pretext to invade Iraq. But even if you believe Bush's lying spiel, does it justify killing babies and their mothers in their homes in Baghdad? What would Jesus say to that?
"Thou Shalt Not Kill." One can't take it out of context, because there are no exceptions. It is the absolute pure law of God, as taken down from Mount Sinai by Moses.
Is it possible to call oneself a Christian and play fast-and-loose with the Commandments? To alter the law of God just to fit the circumstances?
Im not a bible scholar so I did miss that, Im sorry.
As for not killing, if you open up the old testament, you will see that God led people into wars to kill there enemy. Wars happen.
As for why we went to war, now, even now, I am confused. I really dont know now why we went.
All I know is, the Lord will sort this confusion out.
