I think my use of smileys is offending in relation to the posted link. I generally laugh at the absurdity of it, but deep down inside there is no laughter whatsoever. The Mckinney saga is one of the many curious cases of our times, in history she will go down as someone who was mentally unstable and entertained conspiracy theories(boy we can't get enough of this word, I think it may replace insurgent). But the truth is much deeper when you understand our media as being influenced (understatement) by gov't. I apologize if anyone was offended.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Paul Craig Roberts', 'H')ow many more will die before America drowns in the shame of the blood that is being shed for no other reason than the American people were so stupid as to elect a president who cannot admit that he made a mistake? The same stupid American people elected a Congress that is too corrupt to impeach a president who is a liar, a war criminal, and a tyrant.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('NEOPO', 'A') very courageous human being.

A courageous human being would have tried this when she still had a political career. It's a hollow gesture from a coward who's looking for a book deal.

"The legislation has no chance of passing and serves as a symbolic parting shot not only at Bush but also at Democratic leaders. Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has made clear that she will not entertain proposals to sanction Bush and has warned the liberal wing of her party against making political hay of impeachment."

Can someone please explain this crap to me? Why the **** not?

Yeah as if that had a chance with a republican controlled house and senate.......
Ok then since we all have an ulterior motive for doing and saying what we do then what is yours MR twister?
What is your motivation for putting down a woman who tried to expose 911 and election fraud?
Nothing much comes to my mind but someone who dislikes the truth............

and Erl - pffft!!
Thats about all I have to say to anyone who believes the official version of just about anything... Pfft!

You should probably go back and check my post history. If anyone has been on a crusade for truth, it's me. But that truth doesn't stop at the party line. Just because she has a (D) after her name doesn't shield her from my criticism.
Everyone knows it's a useless gesture. The Republicans know it, the Democrats know it, and everyone here knows it. So why did she do it? It's pure grandstanding.

You see, now that she's on record for "trying to expose the truth", she can hit the talk show circuit, write a book and make all kinds of money. It's shallow, cynical and morally bankrupt. Just like Washington.
You asked what my motive was? That's it. I want people to pull thier heads out of the sand and realize - the Democrats aren't going to save you. They are just as bad as the Republicans. They will screw you to suit thier own interests and line thier masters' pockets.

Ok so the "masters" wanted her to expose 911 and voter fraud?
Please explain that part away for me thanks.
I understand the logic and pretty much believe that you are correct yet you are trying to put them all in the same boat and that simply will not do as I am not convinced that every democrat nor every republican is intrinsically bad and/or part of the "program".

(R)Ron Paul is a good example.

Yes it is purely symbolic yet it certainly seems that this is the best she could do besides all that she has done to reveal the truth about 911 and voter fraud/diebold to date.
I am not aware of many others as brave as this woman.
If all the worlds women were so brave the world would indeed be a very different place.

You'll have to forgive my cynicism. In my time, I've seen a lot of dirty politicians of all political stripes do a lot of dishonest and downright vile things for a few extra bucks. I see every action as either outright self-serving (as in this case), or for the enrichment of some wealthy benefactor, which is also self-serving.
You ask how this benefits her masters, and you're right. It doesn't. But it doesn't really hurt them, either. She's "out" now. She can say whatever she wants and her former masters don't really care. They know they are untouchable no matter what she says. They know it, and she certainly knows it. And since everybody knows they are untouchable, her only other possible interest is self-interest. Given the recent climate in the media, another outspoken critic of the administration may even fit in with her former masters' goals.

Who knows. Maybe her future book deals and TV appearances are a means to an end. Maybe she even believes what she's saying. It's possible. But let's face it: She's not really bringing anything new to the table. Without a plan of action or even an honest conduit for disseminating her message, it's just going to be more background noise that the American people ignore as they channel surf.
And the cynic in me tells me she knows that as well.
