But you said there were few similarities. I simply mentioned many similarities that exist between the two languages. English-Spanish have a great deal of similarities and only a few dissimilarities. Compare English to any other language or Spanish to any other language and you'll find few languages that make an easier pair.

There's this Lebanese guy in my class. He was talking to my (Pal) professor today, in half English and half Arabic. Is that common to speak two languages off and on during the same conversation or even the same sentence? It cracked me up.
Oh, and when I defeat Israel and the US and become ruler of the new Middle East, I'm making Arabic mandatory. Sorry.

I'm not a nurse, but I could probably impersonate one better than you can impersonate a network expert. The address in Amsterdam that you posted is the PO Box for the RIPE NCC. Assigned to a geographic region? Yes. It's assigned to the geographic regions of Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

This is where you're all supposed to jump up and down and scream that Miki is in Oregon, because Satgate has a contact address there. Reality is that despite having an Oregon contact, Satgate is a Russian Company, and, as the first paragraph of their homepage says, "SatGate offers Satellite Internet connectivity services to its clients on the territory of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and the Caucasus"
I did learn something out of this though. There is a tool that is actually able to link your IP address to your physical address. It's called Geobytes. The way that they do it is that every time you are asked by a website to enter your address, it gets linked with your IP. Geobytes then pays other websites for lists of such information. Geobytes places Miki in.....drumroll please.....Beirut. Link
