$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'D')id you see him in that David Lynch flick where he ran down some hapless clown who passed his Mercedes? He did the whole massive intimidation thing. Wow, what a scene! So, what, you think I could get in the movies with a face like mine? My kids want to be movie stars, ha! wouldn't it be funny if I was the one to do it! I kid you not, I've had students in my travels as a substitute teacher who asked me if I was "famous".

Yeah, Lost Highway, great movie. That jerk gave Mr. Eddy the finger as he overtook him and he didn't like that. I'd like to have his Merc though. 1500 HP or something like that... Robert Blake was also incredibly creepy as the Mystery Man.

When the kids ask you if you're famous that's only because you remind them of someone they've seen on Cops or America's Dumbest Criminals...

Why don't you invite me to your class? I can tell the kids a little about Europe and Sweden and that football is something completely different from what they think it is. Then we'll see if they cry or not... I bet your gubmint has some money saved somewhere for this kind of thing. Why don't you talk to Arnold about it? Apply for some money and I'll be there in no time.

Request: $50.000

Purpose: To bring Schwein over the pond to tell the kids a little about the European Union.

Hell, this scheme could make us rich! Just remember that I'll be the boss...

Good move, Jato. Whoa did that come out of left field! I was thinking, I wonder if Zardoz still thinks this thread is more fun than an argument between Monte and JD.

Jato, please check your PMs.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('SinisterBlueCat', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Schweinshaxe', 'I')'m actually what you could call a modern man. I wouldn't have anything against a career woman as a wife who's working 16 hours a day if she'd let me sit at home all day long in my underwear and watch hockey on TV. I could take care of the washing and cleaning during commercials and period breaks.

yeah, but can you cook and make a decent martini? and by the way, how are you in bed? i mean really...washing and cleaning?
How is he in bed? Useless just like normall. Littlle dicks aren't even available to suck, just like his brain!

I'd also want a good dinner prepared and ready by the time I come home. And 100% of your attention when I'm at home, but if I feel like doing something else, don't complain about being ignored. And you'll have to find the way to budget my salary for both of us, and it isn't very high. And of course, you'll have to relocate with me if I choose to get a job somewhere else.

Deal?

Deal!

The relocation part is taken care of by Pee-Man as usual. Don't expect a 1:st class ticket... Think container freight... I know, he's a cheap bastard but what the hell can you do?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jenab6', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('LadyRuby', 'A')nd make your own god-damned dinner.

I've been making my dinner for the past 20 years. Here's a favorite recipe.

LOL, I make dinner fer myself my Mum and my sister.

Some Favourite(s): Orange chicken. Take one froz. chook, thaw.

Take one (or two, depending on size) whole orange. Puncture outer layer with toothpicks. Stuff chook with punctured orange(s). SLOW cook .

Chook tastes...OH, so good as the orange juice slowly leaks out and permeates the chook during cooking.

Nuther favourite: roast leg-of-lamb with rosemary, garlic, chives a a hint of thyme; seved with rosemary + garlic + dill roast spuds and caramalised butternut pumpkin, steamed corn-on-the-cob (wi' LASHINGS O butter!), peas (if that suits), carrots (steamed) and any other vegie that happens to get in my way. Never been much one for cauliflower or cabbage, as I think we Westerners cook 'em for too long. I know that the stir-fries I've had, their vegies taste better...but that may be due to how much condiments get added to the cooking.

Again: lemon-and-lime fish. Take any sort of fish you fancy, place inside cooking parper "envelope" and then fill envelope with lemon juice & lime juice. Place filled envelope inside foil (foiled again!) and place in oven, on moderate heat. Cook for 15 mins. In the mean-time, take frypan and heat and melt lots of butter into said hot pan. Take fish outta oven & outta foil & outta cooking paper and toss straight into the hot frypan. Char outside and then when outside is sufficiently roasted and seared, serve with fav. side dish (mine is garlic & dill rise).

OH, I've found the "minced" (or dried) garlic has zero odour and tastes even better than it's fresh variety.

OH, I'm trying for some broths, right now, but I'm not having much succcess... I have to avoid some spices due to tummy complaints. BTW - only the guys need reply to this, as I suppose the girls will feel they're too good for cooking.

I know Aussie girls certainly do, as I have never met one my age that could actually cook, or even boil an egg. OR, for that matter, any of 'em who had an interest in personal hygene (they smell of BO something FIERCE; guys might smell bad when they don't wash but GIRLS smell a whole lot worse). Let me put it this way: they use vinegar as DEODORANT, as it smells better than they do.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('LadyRuby', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('kam30en', 'L')adyRuby, do you actually think that women will remain equals post peak?

Au contraire (there goes the limit of my French). In a world of coming hardship we need more influence from women. As a broad generalization, I think women must be genetically predisposed to cooperate rather than maim and kill.

To which I reply: Ayn Rand, Ann Coulter (what IS it with these Anns?) and Margret Thatcher.

Some of the most bloodthirsty wars were fought at the behest of women - it's just they got the guys to do the fighting. Take Rwanda. Most of those instigating others (ie: giving the orders) to massacre were women, while most of those following to orders were men.

Take the example of Queen Boudicca (Boadecea). She captured the relatively undefended towns of Camulodunum, Londinium and Verulamium in AD 60. Far from showing any sympathy with those whom she had just so lately captured (least of all other women), she ordered incredible atrocities to be conducted against the town's inhabitiants, especially women.

Lastly, think of those vast numbers of "jousts" (tourneys) conducted in the Middle Ages. It was the knight (the man) who would fight at a Lady's behest. And ONLY with a Lady's blessing. In other words: men fought, but it was women who ordered them to for the woman's amusement.

Peace-loving? LOL, war-by-proxy is still war, and the lust for it is still aggression.

Women have the same capability for evil as men, it's naive to think otherwise.

Ubercynicmeister, you must live in a strange place where people use vinegar for deodorant lol that's just weird.

Damn, uber, you made some good points, but shit, can you remove yourself from this misogyny? It was tough on me too when I was an adolescent, and we all know the balance of power from those early days, but they get ugly a lot sooner than us. Heh heh. Sorry UE but it has to be said. (you're probably one of the exceptions, a lady beautiful into her middle ages, when the men are balding losers.)

LOL, I have! Other my awful digressions on to the topic of cooking (something no self-respecting Feminist would ever admit to doing - cooking that is, not digressing - but then, I'm not a Feminist) I have kept on topic!

Honest!

Hee hee, sorry fer the teasing.

LOL, no, I said "women" not "everyone"...yes, I live in Australia, and it's the Politically Correct Capital of the Planet. I could give you example after example of this, but you wouldn't like it and I *Might * get accused of being something I'm not.

In short: if you're an Aussie male, you're either single or castrated. I'm single because I refuse to be castrated. The price I pay, I guess, for having external genetailia.

OH, and i like cooking, something ELSE that (I suppose) will cause someone somewhere to be offended, LOL!

I don't blame you , the guys in charge didn't ever put that pic that Jato put up into the regular rotation. But my friendly pic has been a regular staple around here. And I must say, when the chips are down, I'm a loving sort. An intelligent kid with the worst sort of social disabilty, deafness, often gets a sense of profound irony and sympathy for life's losers.
