$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jenab6', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('LadyRuby', 'A')nd make your own god-damned dinner.
I've been making my dinner for the past 20 years. Here's a favorite recipe.
LOL, I make dinner fer myself my Mum and my sister.
Some Favourite(s): Orange chicken. Take one froz. chook, thaw.
Take one (or two, depending on size) whole orange. Puncture outer layer with toothpicks. Stuff chook with punctured orange(s). SLOW cook .
Chook tastes...OH, so good as the orange juice slowly leaks out and permeates the chook during cooking.
Nuther favourite: roast leg-of-lamb with rosemary, garlic, chives a a hint of thyme; seved with rosemary + garlic + dill roast spuds and caramalised butternut pumpkin, steamed corn-on-the-cob (wi' LASHINGS O butter!), peas (if that suits), carrots (steamed) and any other vegie that happens to get in my way. Never been much one for cauliflower or cabbage, as I think we Westerners cook 'em for too long. I know that the stir-fries I've had, their vegies taste better...but that may be due to how much condiments get added to the cooking.
Again: lemon-and-lime fish. Take any sort of fish you fancy, place inside cooking parper "envelope" and then fill envelope with lemon juice & lime juice. Place filled envelope inside foil (foiled again!) and place in oven, on moderate heat. Cook for 15 mins. In the mean-time, take frypan and heat and melt lots of butter into said hot pan. Take fish outta oven & outta foil & outta cooking paper and toss straight into the hot frypan. Char outside and then when outside is sufficiently roasted and seared, serve with fav. side dish (mine is garlic & dill rise).
OH, I've found the "minced" (or dried) garlic has zero odour and tastes even better than it's fresh variety.
OH, I'm trying for some broths, right now, but I'm not having much succcess... I have to avoid some spices due to tummy complaints. BTW - only the guys need reply to this, as I suppose the girls will feel they're too good for cooking.
I know Aussie girls certainly do, as I have never met one my age that could actually cook, or even boil an egg. OR, for that matter, any of 'em who had an interest in personal hygene (they smell of BO something FIERCE; guys might smell bad when they don't wash but GIRLS smell a whole lot worse). Let me put it this way: they use vinegar as DEODORANT, as it smells better than they do.
