Oh well I thought this one was obvious!

DROWNING POOL

"Bodies"

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor Beaten why for
Can't take much more
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Push me again
This is the end
Skin against skin blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in now you're here
Driven by hate consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor

Or depending on the nature of the rioting.

Les Miserables

Do You Hear The People Sing?

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Courfeyrac:
Then join in the fight
That will give you the right to be free!

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

Will you give all you can give
So that our banner may advance
Some will fall and some will live
Will you stand up and take your chance?
The blood of the martyrs
Will water the meadows of France!

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'T')he working class before the age of oil was in dire straights, with squalid living conditions and bare subsistence provisions. Social inequity is at a historical minimum now (or perhaps 20 years ago or so). That is what will go by the wayside. The Industrial Revolution and the Age Of Oil was a godsend for the general run of humanity.

No, that is what the elites have you brainwashed to believe. The ten richest individuals are richer then the bottom 3 billion. At no time in history was so much wealth controlled by so few people. Oil has allowed the rich to become richer at a fantastic rate and build their wealth on the backs of extream social inequality.

Nonsense. The material standards of living of the working class are vastly better now than prior to the oil/industrial era. The rich are the rich and have always been. It is the working class that's going to get the worst of this unless there is a total collapse, in which case all will suffer.

What do you mean by Working Class? Are you talking about wage slaves VS actual slaves. Well yes their lives are better. Over 300 years ago most people were not slaves. Don't be so Eurocentric in your world view. Think of Africa, South America, China, India, and Native American peoples where slavery was rare. Most people lived in villiages as either subsistance farmers or semi nomadic farmers. Their lives are not better today.

Yes, it is the Eurocentric view I'm taking when I talk about subsistence living for the working class. It's got nothing to do with slave labor. The free workers got so little because there just wasn't that much to go around. We peakoilers know why, too.

My favorite tune, make em' dance [smilie=qleft6.gif]

Peak Oil Song

Unread postby grabby » Fri 03 Feb 2006, 06:46:13

(Sung to the tune of sleighbells)

Just hear those oil drills drilling those tankers filling now soon,
I say its lovely wether for the "peak oiling" call of the loon.
Now see the moon is rising and gas flares framing the moon
Lets all now join to gether and sing the peak oil tune.

Fill 'er up, check the oil, drain the bank, lets go!
Out into the snow,
Its winter and my SUV can theat three homes!
Turn the key, pedal down, blow this town ya know!
Well drive in warmth blasting heat where 'er we go.

I say my cheeks are rosy, and my girl's cozy with me,
I'm listening to Rap and weather, my cell phone, I got a TV!
Its good weve got the money to fill this home for three,
Just driving to the mail-box to check the mail for me!

(you can add more verses.)
