$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('falser', 'Y')ou're right OZ_DOC. And they didn't even touch on the economic depression, collapse of the electrical grid, or war with China etc, instead it's a 1 year crisis that is resolved at the end. And that's what separates movies from real life, there will be no happy ending if any of the rest of the predictions come true.
Edit: something is funky with this forum, I wrote this response after OZ's obviously
Maybe someones operating a zero point energy generator and it messing with the quantum time state of this forum

.
It was on Southern Cross (tassie version of ch. 7 and ch. 10) and yes kochie did preface it to clarify it was not a documentary of current events.
In response to Omnitir, the most annoying thing about that movie was those 4 ships. they carried 2 million barrels each and after months of negotiations their arrival was deemed salvation. NEWSFLASH the USA currently use 20 million barrels per day. thats 3720 million barrels in 6 months assuming no demand growth ( i know price would cause some destruction ). I have serious doubts that the arrival of 8 million barrels would do shit except possibly cause more domstic conflict as decisions are made about where it goes, can you imagine all sorts of state interest groups trying to fight over it, anarchy would ensue.
