$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Antimatter', '
')Oops! I used the energy content of a litre of petrol when i should have used the value for a gallon. Damn your imperial units!

That should be 625 miles per gallon, and 208mpg at 33% powerplant efficiency.

Almost 100km per litre!
On a pure cost per KM basis, Vectrix is estimating, based on average of 6000 km/year, that a person would spend:
4 Year Cost of Fuel/Electricity
Gas scooter: € 1,404
Vectrix scooter: € 98
Assumes gasoline costs €1.17/liter, with a range of 20 km/liter
Assumes electricity costs €0.15/kW, with a range of 37 km/kW
I believe that electricity is cheaper than that in the USA. I know gasoline is cheaper than that (for now). I am not sure about Europe though.
