$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Tikib', 'B')ut anyway human civilization is kinda hilarious when you think about it. It should be obvious to everyone who's ever lived that existence is entirely pointless on any level. And yet we have continued to exist for 10,000 years and called ourselves intelligent.
Could Chopin have composed a nocturne if he would have embraced a view of life as pointless?
Maybe even more to the point, Could Einstein have discovered that all is relative had he first seen life as pointless. Maybe afterwards but not before. lol
Against all logic you decided to get out of bed today
A child tries to ride a bicycle for the first time. Out the window the childs nihilist father watches and he thinks. "Life is futile,"
Ultimately I agree there is no point or meaning to existence. But that's besude the point!
There is a universe of difference between understanding this and embracing this. Humans are good at this actually. We greet each day not reflecting on the fact that at the end of the road the worms will feast on our bodies.
So there is a nihilist truth and a nihilist orientation in how one lives ones life. The ultimate truth can be liberating in a sense but the orientation can be brutally depressing.
A little compassion perhaps for the stupid monkeys.
Patiently awaiting the pathogens. Our resiliency resembles an invasive weed. We are the Kudzu Ape
