LOL! According to this site, the indians at the res 3 years ago were engaging in in an illegal explosives transaction. Appearantly it is a felony to sell anyone under 21 years of age explosive materials! :lol:

They were also violating law by allowing a resident of a seperate state to purchase them. Not to menetion I don't have proper permits to transport explosives off of the res, and I do not have proper vehicle identifying tags. Plus, I keep my fireworks about 6 ft away from where I sleep. Always at the ready! Now, off I go to go torch off some M-1000's!

I think I'm a rosy historian/fusionite, but with darker overtones (ie, it may not be a couple of rough decades, it may be four, and they may be quite rough).

And I'm female, debunking the theory that fusionites are always male. Anyway, I'm not saying that fusion is happening anytime soon, but I wouldn't discount it as a real possibility to come out of peak oil.

I had a great time with my friends last night, though, and can't wait to see them again. I had some fresh-baked chocolate cupcakes for them, and they had a glass of wine for me, and I saw another friend I hadn't seen in years, and we all played with a couple of dogs.

Well, smallpoxgirl has told us that we do have enzymes in our gastric juices that will digest bugs. A Philippina girl to me that her grandfather was in the Philippines during the Japanese occupation of WWII and he kept himself alive eating bugs. Round it out with some dandelions (very nutricious). Wash it down with the dew collected off of car windows at four in the morning. I'll soon be packing potatos in sand. They keep a long time that way. Plant the eyes and live off of bugs until the potato crop comes in. I'd much rather be on Domus's farm but you gotta do what you gotta do. A bb-gun could bring you a bird or two.

You can go to a supermarket and ask for left over vegetables "for your rabbits" and they'll give them to you, you can hang out at 7-11's real late at night and they'll give you the hot dogs that didn't sell (mmmm crispy) and there's all kinds of other things you can do.

I spent a good part of my childhood and young adult years fairly hungry so I know the feeling.

I always imagined you as Massad Ayoob, one of the first writers on the wonderful sport of bowling-pin shooting
