How much more economic activity do we get because of the bush tax cut? That your pretty colors don't show.

Unfortunately your graphs don't answer my question. The question can probably not be answered, because nobody knows what would have happened if different decisions would haven been taken in the past.

So, if you're already assuming the question can't be answered, then why ask it? It's a loaded question based on a faulty assumption then.
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Increased economic activity for the 1%'ers down through the top 20%.

The bottom 80% are just squeaking by at best.

Because it might get the wealth-redistributor crowd thinking. Something they are not very good at. They are mostly driven by instinct: Give me, give me, give me.

So you say. I know of a small and poor farming town (near where I grew up). A factory came in and provided jobs for many. The factory owner got rich. But the whole town got a good life, not an easy life, but a good life.

What would you have done? Tell the factory owner to go and build his factory somewhere else, because he doesn't deserve to get rich? Or would you have taxed the factory at 90% such that he sure will think 3 times before building an expansion in this town?

Don't you ever get tired of always blaming others for your misery? Or is that kind of a hobby for you?

You mean all those hard working people who are living on a penitence, while their masters are saying give me, give me, give me more for less and less and less?

Hahahahahaha. Hahahahahahaha.
Hard working. Now that is a good one. Most (not all) are overpaid, not reliable or otherwise useless. The good ones can command a good salary.

But I still have good joke to cheer us all up:
What does a rich man see when looking down? Shit.
What does a poor man see when looking up? Asshole.

I have another story, I live near a few small poor villages that were once the focal point of the rural communities life. Then Walmart, Home Depot, Staples, among others moved in and provided a few part time low wage jobs while wiping out the many owners and workers that once ran all those small mom and pop stores and services in these places.

Walmart got rich, the local consumers suckered into the new deal saw their villages and towns languish and die. They now lack enough tax base to support their basic infrastructure.

And don't forget the GOP still wants to get rid of the minimum wage.

Not to mention the local print shop, the local pet shop, the local barber shop, the local crafts store.

But yeah without Staples there would be no place to get paper. Remember how birch bark used to clog the fax machine?

Why are all those hard working people feeling or showing sorrow and regret for having done wrong? I think they should be proud of their hard work.

Word Origin & History
penitence c.1200, from O.Fr. penitence (11c.), from L. paenitentia "repentance," from paenitentum (nom. paenitens) "penitent," prp. of paenitere "cause or feel regret," probably originally "is not enough, is unsatisfactory," from paene "nearby, almost."

I found some that make the point that the deficits balloon under Republicans who get elected by screeching that the deficit is too high. That's exactly what happened under Reagan when DC became a boomtown and money rained down from the sky. But I have not found one that displays properly here.
