So you say. I know of a small and poor farming town (near where I grew up). A factory came in and provided jobs for many. The factory owner got rich. But the whole town got a good life, not an easy life, but a good life.
What would you have done? Tell the factory owner to go and build his factory somewhere else, because he doesn't deserve to get rich? Or would you have taxed the factory at 90% such that he sure will think 3 times before building an expansion in this town?
Don't you ever get tired of always blaming others for your misery? Or is that kind of a hobby for you?

I have another story, I live near a few small poor villages that were once the focal point of the rural communities life. Then Walmart, Home Depot, Staples, among others moved in and provided a few part time low wage jobs while wiping out the many owners and workers that once ran all those small mom and pop stores and services in these places.
Walmart got rich, the local consumers suckered into the new deal saw their villages and towns languish and die. They now lack enough tax base to support their basic infrastructure.

Why are all those hard working people feeling or showing sorrow and regret for having done wrong? I think they should be proud of their hard work.

Do you have one that shows the debt?
I found some that make the point that the deficits balloon under Republicans who get elected by screeching that the deficit is too high. That's exactly what happened under Reagan when DC became a boomtown and money rained down from the sky. But I have not found one that displays properly here.
