I would be interested in knowing who the other 1%'s are. The only one I know for sure is Pretorian, because he doesn't have a clue about the reality for most of humanity.
It's like watching Mitt Romney. I actually met his dad and he extremely pissed me off. He wasn't too fond of me either.
Aside from my personal feelings, George Romney, though a Republican, was a Progressive, promoting Civil Rights in the early 60's, and supported Johnson's Great Society.
So I have to give him his due, even though we personally clashed.

Interesting point in The Age of Stupid: the resources needed for air travel negates most of the savings made by a household for everything else.

And the huge CO2 emissions and wasteful fuel use for a private jet flying a wealthy member of the 1% around are the worst of all---take Al Gore for example.
