$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('SeaGypsy', '.'). Get cheap travel while you can, because it's only going to get more expensive here on out....

Yup.

This is it. Go now. When peak oil really starts to bite travel is going to be a lot more expensive, just like everything else.

If there is any spot on the planet that you've always wanted to see, any culture that you've always wanted to experience, any place on earth with historical events that you've always wanted to understand --- break your piggy bank and go there now.

You won't regret it. 8)

Last time I was at Corcovado's it didn't look like that. I think it's Cape Town.

My guess was western Chile.

I would be interested in knowing who the other 1%'s are. The only one I know for sure is Pretorian, because he doesn't have a clue about the reality for most of humanity.

It's like watching Mitt Romney. I actually met his dad and he extremely pissed me off. He wasn't too fond of me either.

Aside from my personal feelings, George Romney, though a Republican, was a Progressive, promoting Civil Rights in the early 60's, and supported Johnson's Great Society.

So I have to give him his due, even though we personally clashed.

Interesting point in The Age of Stupid: the resources needed for air travel negates most of the savings made by a household for everything else.

Right.

And the huge CO2 emissions and wasteful fuel use for a private jet flying a wealthy member of the 1% around are the worst of all---take Al Gore for example.

I'm the percent that's so liquid that I'm pulling in $60, $100 million a year. I fly private jets so I don't waste time making my next mega-deal.

I think you are just being mean. Or.. perhaps you are giving me too much credit, if you think that really knowing the reality could have change my opinion. Since, once again let me tell you that it is me who knows the reality; and it is you who does not.

Strange, I'd thought you'd fall in love with each other! Out of curiosity, what what was the subject of your disagreement?
