$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('roccman', '
')At one time JB a common voice mattered in this country.
A time before TV.
Since the advent of TV Americans have been significantly dumbed down.
Today our common voice does not matter.
I disagree. TV and the internet have allowed people to express opinions and ideas like never before.
If you ever do go to college, take a course in history entitled something like
20th century American Worker. I promise you that if you look at the conditions that our ancestors worked under, and the quality of life that they had, you will see that we have come a long way.
In the 20th century you could be shot because you wanted to start a union or went on strike. If you got hurt at work, too bad. If you got killed at work, too bad. Your family would go hungry.
This country is far from perfect but that comes with the trade. Before Halliburton, there was Rockefeller and Carnegie. After Halliburton there will be something else, it’s the nature of the beast.
