There are plenty of "patriotic" Americans who think America has the right to bomb the crap out of anyone who doesn't put our interests ahead of their own. Just listen to any a.m. talk radio show, and you will hear all kinds of right wing gasbags advocating nuclear genocide in the middle east.

No, I am not painting all patriots with the same brush, I am just saying there are a lot of people out there who do believe they are entiltled, by right of birth, to sacrifice thousands or millions of"lesser" people's lives to afford themselves a little more material comfort or to protect against a highly improbable threat, such as Saddam Hussein using WMD's against us.

I did not say that a majority of people hold these views, or that radio stations are endorsing it, merely that there is a sizable minority of individuals do.
