It used to be I could order any number of joysticks/HOTAS from wide variety of selection on Amazon and they would be at very reasonable prices often with free 2-day or even same-day (PRIME) shipping… For example years ago I got a Thrustmaster joystick for only $38 at the time and it was the regular price, not even a flash sale or anything like that… Nowadays I canot find any joystick on Amazon that isn’t at least three times the normal price, if its even in stock or available at all… Some people have attributed the blame to Microsoft’s new Flight Simulator 2020 release, but that can’t be the entire reason…

Because it isn’t just joysticks… when Nvidia debutted the much hyped RTX3080 I stayed up all night and had three or four web browsers open, constantly F5-ing to refresh the product order/launch pages on Nvidia, BestBuy, NewEgg, etc etc hoping to be one of the first to be able to get a stock FE version of the RTX3080… and it turned out there was literally zero inventory and this was a fake paper launch, and no one could get their hands on a RTX3080 FE for the stated MSRP and those that did end up getting one paid thousands of dollars more to scalpers… and to this day, months after the initial so called “launch” of Nvidia RTX3080 GPU, there still has been zero real availability of the card for anywhere near the MSRP…

When the lower tiered Nvidia RTX3070 released a bit later last month I figured they would learn from their mistakes and have more inventory this time around, but to my surprised I wasted another night staying up for nothing and it was sold out before it even released and the Best Buy website even crashed online because of it… essentially almost noone got a card and Nvidia didn’t even sell it on their own website this second time around…

If it was just not being able to buy joysticks and graphics cards I would say attribute it to a string of bad luck in the year of 2020… but apparently just days ago the launch of the PS5 suffered the same fate, people stayed up and no one was able to F5 fast enough to beat the bots and very few people (who weren’t already luck enough to win the pre-order lottery) were able to actually get a PS5 and it looks like due to inventory issues it wouldn’t be until 2021 that most people can actually get their hands on a PS5…

And then there are the new games that are supposed to run on these new hardware… after all it makes no sense to buy new state of the art graphics cards or next gen consoles like the PS5 if you don’t have those killer titles that make it worth upgrading for…. the most anticipated game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077, which is supposed to come out on nine devices had already been delayed four times this year is seemingly going to get delayed yet once again onto 2021…. at this point, over 13 years in the making, this game feels much more like a vaporware scam that was meant only as a social construction rather than a real deliverable title…

Back before the pandemic, it used to be one could put down the games and just go out and do something fun in ‘real life’… well that doesn’t seem like an option anymore, you cannot go on a cruise, cannot take an international vacation, heck cannot even go to a movie theater or do some local event these days anymore…. what is worse, all the popular spots and places are closing, some of which are permanent closures. Just in the Arlington, Texas area alone, the spaghetti warehouse shutdown, a lot of popular high end restaurants have permanently close their doors and won’t be coming back, and even the Cheesecake Factory by our local mall is closing their chain and shutting down….

I noticed also items gone missing that are not being restocked/reshelfed ever again… first it was select brands of beef jerky that I often for years had gotten at CVS and Kroger, then it was other items and now it has gotten to dozens of things that I had been able to consistently get for years have suddenly disappeared from the shelfs and stores and no sign of ever coming back with no explaination of what happened to them…. and stores everywhere are closing way earlier than normal. My local Best Buy shuts down at 6PM everynight, in stark contrast to the 11PM closing time of years ago… our Kroger used to be a 24/7 and now it closes at 10PM… same too for our SuperWalmart that used to be 24/7 now closing at 10PM… and for years I had been able to do midnight snack runs, well now all the fast food places close early, even places at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Jack in the Box, etc close their drive through by 10PM… I used to be able to get food at midnight or even at late as 2AM

On one hand people are talking about UBI and stimulus checks and how the stock market is skyrocketing and they are getting more and more wealthy on paper… looking at the growth of their 401k and all that… but on the other hand it seems nothing is open anymore, there is nothing to do, and you cannot buy nothing of value… with every major launch this year from graphics card to consoles all being absolutely fake paper launches with zero inventory so that even if you do have money there is nothing actual for you to buy and you cannot really do anything with that money…

I get the distinctive feeling this is a trend that is only going to continue, no one is talking about it, and people are all pretending everything is going to be okay… but in reality this could be a top down structured demand-destruction to permanently acclimate the population to a far reduced standard of living/ quality of life where everyone is a millionaire on paper but no one can buy anything save for the few lucky enough “F5” lottery winners!

One of the better speeches I helped produce for George W. Bush was never given. On election night 2000 — standing outside in the rain, at an Austin victory rally that never happened — I had a copy of a concession speech in my pocket. As I remember it, the first lines were: “I have just talked to my opponent, who is no longer my opponent. He is the president-elect of the United States.”

I had no doubt that then-Gov. George W. Bush would have delivered that speech if necessary. The 2000 presidential election was far closer than the one we just experienced — a slight electoral wind could have blown it either way. But Bush, had he lost, would have played by the rules and accepted the outcome, just as Vice President Al Gore eventually did. And how do I know that Bush would have done this? Because he is a man of character who would have put the good of the country ahead of his own interests when the moment called for it.

What America is now experiencing is a massive failure of character — a nationwide blackout of integrity — among elected Republicans. From the president, a graceless and deceptive insistence on victory after a loss that was not even close. From congressional Republicans, a broad willingness to conspire in President Trump’s lies and to slander the electoral system without consideration of the public good. Only a few have stood up against Republican peer pressure of contempt for the constitutional order.

Whenever Trump loses, he baselessly claims it was rigged. For years, President Trump has cited fraud or a rigged process to explain away his losses. How could such a thing happen in the GOP? It is not an aberration. It is the culmination of Trump’s influence among Republicans, and among White evangelical Christians in particular. Their main justification for supporting Trump — that the president’s character should be ignored in favor of his policies — has become a serious danger to the republic.

Trump never even presented the pretense of good character. His revolt against the establishment was always a revolt against the ethical ground rules by which the establishment played. When he mocked a reporter with a disability, or urged violence at his rallies, or attacked a Gold Star family, Republicans accepted it as part of the Trump package. And some of his most fervent defenses came from White evangelicals.

A group that was once seen as censorious became the least strict chaperone at Trump’s bacchanal. Under the president’s influence, White evangelicals went from the group most likely to believe personal morality matters in a politician to the group that is least likely. “We’re not electing a pastor in chief,” explained Jerry Falwell Jr., the former president of Liberty University. Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Dallas, argued that “outward policies” should matter more than “personal piety.” Ralph Reed of the Faith and Freedom Coalition made his case for Trump’s reelection based on conservative deliverables. “There has never been anyone,” Reed said, “who has defended us and who has fought for us, who we have loved more than Donald J. Trump.”

This is politics at its most transactional. Trump was being hired by evangelicals to do a job — to defend their institutions, implement pro-life policies and appoint conservative judges. The character of the president was irrelevant so long as he kept his part of the bargain. Which Trump largely did.

But now we know what a president without character looks like in the midst of a governing crisis. We see a dishonest president, spinning lie after lie about the electoral system. A selfish president, incapable of preferring any duty above his own narrow interests. A reckless president, undermining the transition between administrations and exposing the country to risk. A vain president, unable to responsibly process an electoral loss. A corrupt president, willing to abuse federal power to serve his own ends. A spiteful president, taking revenge against officials who have resisted him. A faithless president, indifferent to constitutional principles and his oath of office.

Two lessons can be drawn from the Republican failure of moral judgment. First, democracy is an inherently moral enterprise. Yes, politics has a transactional element. But those transactions take place within a system of rules that depend on voluntary obedience. Our electoral system and our presidential transition process have flaws and holes that an unprincipled leader can exploit. Which is a good reason to prefer principled leaders.

And second, U.S. politics would be better off if White evangelicals consistently applied their moral tradition to public life. Not only Christians, of course, can stand for integrity. But consider what would happen if White evangelicals insisted on supporting honest, compassionate, decent, civil, self-controlled men and women for office. The alternative is our current reality, in which evangelicals have often been a malicious and malignant influence in U.S. politics.

This is what a purely transactional politics has actually delivered — a lawless leader resisting a rightful electoral outcome. The only adequate response, as President-elect Joe Biden seems to realize, is a politics of character.

The Dems’ narrative at this point, mid-game, is that… “the election was the most secure in the nation’s history” (The New York Times). Anything else is a “conspiracy theory.” Here’s what the Democrats don’t tell you: theories are subject to proof, and proof brings theories into compliance with reality, including, sometimes, the part about conspiracy. Such as a conspiracy to queer the recent election with vote tabulation software and other wizardries. I guess we’ll find out what can be proven, and that is all the president is attempting to do, like anybody with faith in the scientific method. In Oakland County, Michigan, for instance, comprising the northwest suburbs and exurbs of Detroit, the graph shows a mysterious bending of votes off a trend-line at a pretty clear break-point. Each blue square is a voter precinct. The very same plotline is repeated in several other Michigan counties heavily trending for the president in early voting and then swooning mysteriously for Mr. Biden after a four-hour break in action. How to account for this strange occurrence? The worm in the machine, perhaps: a simple algorithm (i.e., set of coded instructions) embedded in the Dominion vote tabulation software — product of a company, to remind you, partially owned by Senator Feinstein’s husband, Richard C. Blum, and represented by lobbyist Nadeam Elshami, Nancy Pelosi’s former chief of staff. It was Mr. Elshami’s mission to visit state legislators around the country and persuade them to adopt (that is, purchase) the Dominion system. The algorithm appears to subtract votes from one candidate and add them to the other candidate. It’s a feature, not a bug. Weird, a little bit. So, that’s one thing that remains to be proven. How did the algorithm work? Can it be isolated and described? Did its task leave digital footprints? Not all the software geniuses in the USA work for Silicon Valley. Some may be assisting Mr. Trump’s attorneys in figuring this out and constructing cases for the various courts. Since it takes more than a day-and-a-half to bring lawsuits, that may account for the Democrats’ rush to peremptorily discard such formal inquiries and just declare Mr. Biden the winner. Similar ballot tabulation doings show up in the Georgia vote, where a recount is underway, this time with observers and without four-hour mystery pauses. And then there is Pennsylvania.

“The fix was in. The current results of the Presidential election in Pennsylvania reported to the public are fraudulent because they are close to statistically impossible…Today the state is reporting more than 2.5 million mail in ballots. This number was never seen before in this state. As the mail-in ballots were counted, the state began cutting into the President’s 675,000 vote lead and eventually they gave the election to Biden. Biden won 2 million of the 2.5 million mail-in ballots. How could the President receive only one fifth of the mail in ballots after crushing Biden in in-person voting on Election Day? The answer is: this was basically impossible. And here’s why. When we looked at these statistics and we identified a pattern that is virtually mathematically impossible. The President won two thirds of the Election Day vote. But with the basic exception of Philadelphia, the President won around 80% of the vote in each county in the state. (See the blue line in basic the chart below showing the percent of total election day votes won by President Trump.) Philadelphia is so large that it offsets these numbers and brings the President’s results down to around 65% of the state’s votes on Election Day. What happened with the mail in votes is almost statistically impossible (See the orange line below). In almost every county throughout the state, the President was awarded a percent of votes 40% less than the percent the President won on election day (see the grey line below). If Trump won a county by 80% of the vote on Election Day, he won 40% of the mail-in vote for a county. If the President won 60% of the vote on Election Day, he won 20% of the mail-in vote in another county. This pattern occurred in almost every county with the only noticeable exception of Philadelphia, where the President only earned 30% of the vote on Election Day. These numbers are so consistent that they are almost certainly fraudulent. This NEVER happens in data sets. Again, the fact that the mail-in votes and Election Day votes mirrored each other as revealed in the diagram above is basically impossible. Also, the extent of separation is very large at 40%. Dr. Shiva found the same exact vote reallocation (stealing) strategy in Michigan this week. On Tuesday Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai posted this video on his YouTube channel. The video went viral. Dr. Shiva, Phil Evans and Bennie Smith found the same exact pattern in Michigan as we found in Pennsylvania. The first thing Dr. Shiva noticed was in three major counties Trump’s margin was reduced by a minimum of 138,000 votes. The transfer was done by a computer algorithm that linearly transferred the votes from Trump to Biden. Dr. Shiva found that the vote transfer was greater in Republican precincts than Democrat precincts…The same thing occurred on election day. The algorithmic line again is “too perfect.”…They found the same beautiful straight line in all of the counties which is impossible. They did not see this same algorithm in Democrat counties like Wayne County. Dr. Shiva detected the weighted race algorithm that transferred votes from President Trump to Joe Biden.”
