Introducing the ‘Great Reset’
For decades, progressives have attempted to use climate change to justify liberal policy changes. But their latest attempt – a new proposal called the “Great Reset” – is the most ambitious and radical plan the world has seen in more than a generation.
At a virtual meeting earlier in June hosted by the World Economic Forum, some of the planet’s most powerful business leaders, government officials and activists announced a proposal to “reset” the global economy. Instead of traditional capitalism, the high-profile group said the world should adopt more socialistic policies, such as wealth taxes, additional regulations and massive Green New Deal-like government programs.
“Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” wrote Klaus Schwab, the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, in an article published on WEF’s website. “In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
Schwab also said that “all aspects of our societies and economies” must be “revamped,” “from education to social contracts and working conditions.”
Joining Schwab at the WEF event was Prince Charles, one of the primary proponents of the Great Reset; Gina Gopinath, the chief economist at the International Monetary Fund; António Guterres, the secretary-general of the United Nations; and CEOs and presidents of major international corporations, such as Microsoft and BP.
Activists from groups such as Greenpeace International and a variety of academics also attended the event or have expressed their support for the Great Reset.
Although many details about the Great Reset won’t be rolled out until the World Economic Forum meets in Davos in January 2021, the general principles of the plan are clear: The world needs massive new government programs and far-reaching policies comparable to those offered by American socialists such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) in their Green New Deal plan.
Or, put another way, we need a form of socialism — a word the World Economic Forum has deliberately avoided using, all while calling for countless socialist and progressive plans.
“We need to design policies to align with investment in people and the environment,” said the general secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation, Sharan Burrow. “But above all, the longer-term perspective is about rebalancing economies.”
One of the main themes of the June meeting was that the coronavirus pandemic has created an important “opportunity” for many of the World Economic Forum’s members to enact their radical transformation of capitalism, which they acknowledged would likely not have been made possible without the pandemic.
“We have a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis — its unprecedented shockwaves may well make people more receptive to big visions of change,” said Prince Charles at the meeting, adding later, “It is an opportunity we have never had before and may never have again.”
You might be wondering how these leaders plan to convince the world to completely alter its economy over the long run, since the COVID-19 pandemic most assuredly won’t remain a crisis forever. The answer is that they’ve already identified another “crisis” that will require expansive government intervention: Climate change.
“The threat of climate change has been more gradual [than COVID-19]—but its devastating reality for many people and their livelihoods around the world, and its ever greater potential to disrupt, surpasses even that of Covid-19,” Prince Charles said.
Of course, these government officials, activists and influencers can’t impose a systemic change of this size on their own. Which is why they have already started to activate vast networks of left-wing activists from around the world, who will throughout 2021 demand changes in line with the Great Reset.
According to the World Economic Forum, its 2021 Davos summit will include thousands of members of the Global Shapers Community, youth activists located in 400 cities across the planet.
The Global Shapers program was involved in the widespread “climate strikes” of 2019, and more than 1,300 have already been trained by the Climate Reality Project, the highly influential, well-funded climate activist organization run by former Vice President Al Gore, who serves on the World Economic Forum’s Board of Trustees.
For those of us who support free markets, the Great Reset is nothing short of terrifying. Our current crony capitalist system has many flaws, to be sure, but granting more power to the government agents who created that crony system and eroding property rights is not the best way forward. America is the world’s most powerful, prosperous nation precisely because of the very market principles the Great Reset supporters loathe, not in spite of them.
Making matters worse, the left has already proven throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that it can radically transform political realities in the midst of a crisis, so it’s not hard to see how the Great Reset could eventually come to fruition.
Can you imagine George W. Bush or Bill Clinton printing trillions of dollars and mailing it to millions of people who didn’t lose their jobs? This would have been unthinkable just a couple of decades ago. Today, this policy garners bipartisan support.
Prince Charles was right: The present pandemic is a “golden opportunity” for radical change. And if Al Gore, Prince Charles and the rest of the World Economic Forum can convince enough people that attempting to stop climate change is also worth dramatically pushing humanity toward greater government control, then radical – and catastrophic – change is exactly what we’re going to get.

I have met him a number of times and worked with him. Griffin is a shrewd political analyst and a decent man who fought an impossible fight in Britain for most of his life. The place is simply too controlled and too much of a police state for a dissident movement to get started. And he became depressed and delusional in the end, as the pressure finally got to him.
He is a strong advocate of grass roots activism and the idea of using secret societies for advancing the cause of white nationalism. In his opinion, demographic change has gone too far in Britain for an electoral solution to be even possible now, even if it weren’t made impossible anyway by the brutal police state.

Yep, I had all podcasts by Griffin on my iPod in the early 2000s. He is pleasant to listen too, has a sharp brain and he has no excessive anti-German obsession, well at least not in the early 2000s (“Hitler exaggerated a little”, I remember him saying.lol).
Nevertheless, I am sorry to say that he is no real white nationalist, instead he is a British nationalist AND he prefers America to continental Europe. It is his good right to do so, but that attitude is incompatible with claims of being a white nationalist. And Brexit, which he supports, is not a very smart choice if you want to optimize the chances of white British survival. Since most identitarian resources are stored in continental Europe (most of all in Eastern Europe, East-Germania, Russia, Italy) and certainly NOT in America/Anglosphere, where the JQ rules the day. And Griffin is more than smart enough to understand the JQ… and openly say so.

It is fair to say that Griffin is no Oswald Mosley, who was a true European, but those are very rare in England. England is trapped in its island status, 500 years of Splendid Isolation policies, a strong Celtic ethnic undercurrent with an understandable dislike of all things Germanic, 2 disastrous choices leading to WW1 and WW2 and the absence of a king Edward I, who was able to deport those who need to be deported.
Antius his intellectual political-energitical universe revolves around two suns: Nick Griffin and David MacKay. Antius also voted for Brexit, although, to be fair, he did admit later that in hindsight he had grave doubts about the wisdom of that adventure, pointing at strong growth of populism in Europe after 2016.
If Griffin is correct about his assessment in his latest article, then that would imply that the least favorable of my two geopolitical alternatives, rooted in Samuel Huntington and Orwell respectively…

Me, as a character tending towards optimism and mordicus against defeatism, am not there yet. I still see possibilities that the current polarization in the US could lead to the desired break-up of the country, with continental Europe taking over geopolitically and taking (T)rump-America under its benevolent wings, leaving England no other choice than to finally Europeanize, since the ally-of-last-resort no longer exists. Perhaps it happens during the last days of Trump, perhaps it happens when Harris will take over from Biden. Perhaps it happens when Democrats attempt to disarm America after a (perhaps CIA-engineered) mass-shooting in a high school.
Or perhaps Griffin will be right and it won’t happen. I have always said that I guestimate that white America will revolt 60-40. Perhaps wishful thinking.
My geopolitical outlook remains that continental Europe should leave the West, team up with Russia and have an understanding with China, that Greater Europe and China will dominate and protect the multi-polar world of the 21st century and that (T)rump-America would be a nice-to-have little extra for continental Europe, but in order to achieve that, white America will have to revolt seriously first. There will be no Grand EU-armies storming the beaches of SC, Normandy-1944 style, if not the white Americans do some serious skull-cracking first.
Macron and Putin are ready for Paris-Berlin-Moscow, Merkel is blocking it, where former chancellor Gerhard Schroeder would be ready too.

I think Brexit was the right decision for everyone, for the simple reason that the kosher elites that run the UK have now lost any direct influence over European policy. Anything that weakens and damages those people is a good thing.
As for the political disaster in the US, it may work out the way that Griffin anticipates. Remember that for 2000 years, the Jews were forced to live as outcasts in ghetto colonies in foreign lands. They were hated and spat upon, and ultimately developed a highly insular, racialistic culture. Maybe it is time for white people in Britain and the US to do the same. Such people would be more useful to the white race than than the fat, apathetic and complacent bunch that form the majority in these countries now. The white race was initially forged on the Eurasian continent during the ice age. We did not become what we are as a result of soft living. The hardships of the middle ages made the Jews stronger and smarter. The same trials await our people.

I would agree with that, but only from a point of view of British-self-sacrifice for the Greater Common European Good.
Like illustrious people as the Kaiser, Hitler, Goebbels, Hess, I have the same attitude regarding the British: “why can’t these people be our allies?!”
I have zero problem recognizing Britain as a “Great European Nation”. The European tragedy is that the British (most of all English) have great trouble seeing themselves as a “Great European Nation”, and prefer “Anglo-Supremacism”, even Nick Griffin.

I absolutely agree with that and don’t care if the globalist economy would collapse and replaced by something more modest, more local. I wouldn’t mind at all if private car ownership would vanish or these twice-a-year plane-holidays to Farawayistan and would return in the summer to where I went as a toddler: the Dutch beach in Zeeland.
