Biden: “I would transition away from the oil industry”

In the final presidential debate, Joe Biden pledges to gradually transition the country from oil to renewable energy on a path to net-zero emissions by 2050. (Associated Press)

Democrat Joe Biden’s remark that he would “transition” away from oil in the U.S. in favor of renewable energy drew quick attention Thursday night from President Donald Trump, who saw it as a boon to his election chances in key states.

“I would transition away from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said in the presidential debate’s closing minutes under peppering from Trump. “The oil industry pollutes, significantly. … It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.”

The Biden campaign’s climate plan calls for the U.S. to have net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. And he repeated his pledge to end federal subsidies for the oil and gas industry. However, Biden’s plan does not call for a ban on climate-damaging fossil fuels, focusing instead on technologies that can capture pollution from oil and other sources.

Still, Trump seemed surprised and pleased by Biden’s comment, declaring it a “big statement,” and suggesting it would come with political blowback in oil-producing states that stand to lose jobs.

“Basically what he is saying is he is going to destroy the oil industry,” Trump said. “Will you remember that, Texas? Will you remember that, Pennsylvania? Oklahoma? Ohio?”

The CPC and PLA believe there is a very high likelyhood that Trump will engage China in the SCS (kinetically with drones to bomb the Chinese islands) and/or assist Taiwan in declaring official independence and entering the war (the Chinese civil war has never officially ended, and like the North and South Korea situation its been put on hold for many decades but could still ignite if circumstances were right) and in doing so will turn the current Cold War 2.0 into a hot war, regional at least but could go nuclear /WWIII type of scenario in which both superpowers will have to invoke martial law domestically…

This would immediately give Trump the powers he needs to put off and basically cancel the election indefinitely and he will not only serve for at LEAST the next four years but very likely by the end of it he will become bona fide dictator for life…. A war with China, esp one that Trump intentionally instigates, will be ten times more difficult compared to the war in Iraq…. it will necessitate the consolidation of federal powers in the homeland and will give Trump and the GOP the pretext needed to cease power in a sort of “final solution”… not only will all Chinese/Asian Americans be rounded up and likely gassed (and it won’t just be tear gas this time around) but other minorities like Muslims, Hispanics and even African Americans will be on the chopping blocks as Trump will finally be able to realize his Hitler style of absolute power and purifying America by making Whiteness Great Again…

I hope to be wrong, but its very likely, extremely likely even, that in the next couple days we will see a sudden movement and the US will surprise the world just like how this year began with the drone strike of the Iranian general that could have been the catalyst to have triggered a regional or global war…
