40 Volcanoes Are Erupting Right Now As The Crust Of The Earth Becomes Increasingly Unstable

40 Volcanoes Are Erupting Right Now As The Crust Of The Earth Becomes Increasingly Unstable thumbnail

Have you noticed that our planet has begun to shake, rattle and roll?  Over the past few days we have seen major volcanic eruptions in Costa Rica and Indonesia, and according to Volcano Discovery 40 volcanoes around the planet are erupting right now as you read this article.  Meanwhile, earthquakes continue to shake the globe with alarming regularity.  Just last week, Ecuador was hit by a magnitude 6.7 earthquake and a magnitude 6.8 earthquake in rapid succession.  Overall, there have been more than 3,000 earthquakes of magnitude 1.5 or greater within the past month globally.  So yes, I write constantly about the rapidly accelerating deterioration of our financial system, but the coming “collapse” is not just about money.  I am convinced that we are entering a “perfect storm” in which a confluence of factors will absolutely cripple society and bring about changes that most of us would not even dare to imagine right now.

Let’s talk about the volcanic eruptions that we have seen in recent days.  The eruption down in Costa Rica took authorities completely by surprise, and a thick layer of dust and ash is coating vehicles and buildings 30 miles away in the capital city of San Jose

A volcano has erupted in central Costa Rica, belching smoke and ash up to 3,000m (9,840ft) into the air.

Hundreds of people have gone to hospital, complaining of breathing difficulties and skin problems.

Some schools were shut and some flights into the country cancelled or diverted.

People in the capital San Jose, about 45km (30 miles) west of the Turrialba volcano, said layers of ash had coated buildings and cars and there was a fierce smell of sulphur.

Leading up to this eruption, there were “swarms of small earthquakes” in the vicinity of the volcano, but scientists assured the public that these earthquake swarms were “not signs of an imminent eruption.”

Keep that in mind, because later in the article I am going to show you something.

But first let us talk about the other major eruption that is happening right now.  Down in Indonesia, Mount Sinabung has violently erupted, and this is causing all sorts of chaos

The death toll from a volcanic eruption in western Indonesia has climbed to six, an official said Sunday, with fears more could have been trapped by the hot ash.

Three people also remain in a critical condition after Mount Sinabung, a highly-active volcano on Sumatra island, unleashed a series of fresh eruptions on Saturday afternoon, disaster agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said.

“Nine people were struck by the hot clouds. Six died, and three others remain critical with burns,” he said, adding the injured had been taken to hospital.

According to one report, “torrents of lava” are pouring out of the volcano, and this is just one example of how volcanoes that were once considered to be “inactive” are coming to life all over the world.  In fact, prior to 2010 Mount Sinabung had been dormant for about 400 years.

Meanwhile, there is “unprecedented” activity at Iceland’s very dangerous Baroabunga volcano.  This one is not erupting quite yet, but we definitely want to keep an eye on it, because a major eruption there would have serious implications for Europe.

To finish this article, I would like to provide an update to a piece that I posted last week on End of the American Dream.  Just prior to the eruption of the Turrialba volcano in Costa Rica, there were significant earthquake swarms in the vicinity of the volcano.  Well, the exact same thing is happening at three major volcanoes in the United States right now.

I would like to share three images with you that come from Google Earth via the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.  This first image shows the earthquake activity that has taken place in the area around Mt. St. Helens in recent days.  Over the past month there have been 95 earthquakes in the region, and most of them have been centered right along the core of the volcano…

Mt. St. Helens Today

This next image shows what has been happening at Mt. Rainier.  Those that follow my work closely already know that I consider it to be the most dangerous mountain in America and that I believe that a major eruption of the volcano is coming in the not too distant future.  There have been 36 earthquakes at Mt. Rainier over the past month, and once again most of them have occurred right along the core of the volcano…

Mt. Rainier Today

Mt. Hood is also a very dangerous volcano.  There have been 126 earthquakes in the vicinity of Mt. Hood in recent days, and in this image you can see that the earthquakes have been centered very tightly on a spot on the south face of the mountain.  This is alarming because it was also the south side of Mt. St. Helens that violently erupted back in 1980…

Mt. Hood Today

When there are major volcanic eruptions or major earthquakes in other parts of the globe, many Americans don’t seem to care too much because they don’t think that this rise in global seismic activity is any sort of a threat to them personally.

But the truth is that the entire west coast of the United States lies along the Ring of Fire, and virtually every other section of the Ring of Fire is roaring to life these days.

At some point, there will be historic earthquakes on the west coast.

At some point, there will be historic volcanic eruptions on the west coast.

Scientists assure us that these things are inevitable.

So let us certainly hope for the best, but putting our heads in the sand and pretending that these dangers do not exist is not going to help matters one bit.

Get prepared while you still can, because at some point time will run out.

Interesting how right wing hate groups that are supposedly all about Christ don’t rock the man bun like he would today….That’s the one thing that the world can agree on, the dude looked like a hipster, maybe only tan, most likely some shade of darker brown. If god made man in his image, there needs to be more sandals and long hair in the ole church.

Well, I guess it is time to wake up and smell the sulphur. Fire and Brimstone? God is mad at us? Maybe it is just the way things are. California is long overdue for a major earthquake. When it hits, and if it is as bad as predicted, it will have a huge effect on the economy. Global warming is not the only natural disaster that we will have to deal with. Get your house in order!

Meaningless without a trend line…there is no comparison to prior periods to determine if # of quakes is more or less than average. BTW, I’ve read where a volcano is considered inactive after 10,000 years…not 400.

I’ve long suspected that there might be ominous reason for the high number of otherworldly visitors I’ve been seeing. Most of them seem appear to be InterDimensional in origin. Have they already seen our future, our cities barren and lifeless?

    At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

    9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
Word of God – Jeremiah 18:7-10

God has blessed this nation more so than any other, yet now the US spits in God’s face by removing His commandments and rebelling against Him in the worst ways. The US better wake up and repent…turn from her sins and turn back to God Almighty of the Bible for forgiveness and salvation.

And by murdering innocent people to get ahead, natives, and by enslaving people, blacks, and by playing both sides of ww2 before we entered it, same as we do to this day. In God We Trust was not even on our cash until 1957.

Volcanos erupting causing the crust to become unstable?????? The volcanos are erupting to alleviate instability! Like earthquakes relieve stress in faultlines, volcanos erupt to relieve pressure points in the crust. It’s all part of living on a relatively new planet. Once it stabilizes completely the magnetic fields will collapse as the core will no longer be in motion.

Why do I even bother with this stuff?

    Android, “removing His commandments”.

Bullshit, all those granite carvings of the ten commandments were nothing but a publicity stunt conjured up by Cecil B Demile for his movie ” The Ten Commandments” in 1955. Like everything else in merica, it was a con job. The cold war fever helped too – same as it help get “In God We Trust” on the green back in 1957. Y’all is constantly rewriting your history and changing the story to suit whatever bullshit is going on.

Portents of the coming of Christ.
Luke 21:25,26 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Jeremiah 4:22-27 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have no understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger. for thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

I was reading you article with great interest as I and my daughter are survivors of Mt. St. Helen blow up of May 18,1980. We were camped at Cougar Lake Camp grounds when the eruption began. After gathering fire wood I was cooking breakfast for my group when it started to cloud up. After looking up for the clouds I realized St.Helen had lost her temper. Cougar camp ground is located between Smith Lake and Cougar lake. Just to the SOUTH Of the mountain. Check your bearings. The explosion went to the NORTH, not the south as you stated in your article. There is a lot more to this story.if you are really interested in what a REAL survivor, that was there has to say. Your article was interesting until then at that point lost its creditably.

I have a feeling that all of this tectonic activity has to do with the ice that is melting. The ice is very heavy and on a grand scale is able to apply weight to the plates slowing them down over time. As the ice melts there is less weight to slow the plates down and allows them to move more freely allowing magma to move to places it could not reach before the ice melted. This could explain the uptick in earthquake frequency as well. Disclaimer: This is just a hypothesis and I am not a geologist.

This just verifies my son’s generally cynical attitude about the human race. “People are idiots.” Look at who they’re voting for to get confirmation of that. At least capitalism and industrialism gave us plenty of fun toys. What the fuck has religion ever given us other than ignorance, intolerance, blood & guts? Lets just take the last 200 years and look at all the good things you have because of science and technology. Not the toys, but things that if we were only allowed to keep a handful of that we might pick. Things with the greatest benefits. Electricity, flush toilets, running water antibiotics, insulin, Other meds, vaccines, anesthesia. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some. So in that last 200 years what did Christianity or any other religion do for you? What did it to for society or somebody’s dying child or wife? All these fake religious people including the ones who say they are christian but never go to church or pray or read the bible and when you ask them why believe it then they shrug their shoulders. I’d like to see it put to the test. Christianity or the benefits of science – let everyone choose and stand back and watch the churches get demolished.

Why is it that someone can’t say what actually is happening in this world without someone commenting negatively about it or making a joke of it. We are living in dangerous times. For one thing our earth is in a state of a major change. For another thing scientists are doing things such as CERN that are causing major changes. Another thing their methods of drilling for oil is causing earthquakes and changes in the earth. Then we also experience threats from space. None of this is a laughing matter or to be taken lightly. You can agree or not in what this person is saying. But respect him enough to take seriously what he is saying, because he is concerned about what is happening on this earth. It won’t be funny if we actually do have a major earthquake in California. It won’t be funny when there are more earthquakes all over the world. It won’t be funny when volcanoes continue to erupt and cause more deaths. All I am asking people is to take these situations more seriously. I know it is very hard whether to believe these stories, but we do hear about certain events in the news. So it is not all a lie. I’m sure you will comment negatively on what I just wrote also. I guess now on the internet when you express your opinion about anything, immediately they attack you. I apologize to those who do care about what I just wrote. You are our future. If you care about our future as a planet as you are younger than I, you have the power to change the future. We have very intelligent youth in this country. Don’t let it go to waste.

You can call on god, or whatever savior you favor this month, or you could take a real look at the situation in and of the world today and present some means of lesseming the problem or you could admit that humans and most other large animals are on the way out and try to make your and your loved ones exit as painless as possible.

Hey energy investor, maybe you should invest in your homeland tourist industry. Whoops, maybe not. Due to global warming looks like it’s going bye bye or are the tour operators in on the hoax too? What’s it up to now? 500 million people in on the hoax? I bet those evil hubric scientists are up on those New Zealand glaciers every night melting them down with BIC lighters. You know, for the grant money.

Tourists banned from hiking on stunning New Zealand glaciers that have been popular attractions for more than a century because the ice is melting too quickly

New Zealand’s most renowned glaciers are too dangerous for tourist to trek to from the bottom of the mountain

Fox and Franz Josef glaciers have been melting too quickly ending a traditional hike that dates back a century

The two glaciers usually snake down from the mountain to a temperate rainforest but are now melting rapidly

With no signs of a turnaround from warm conditions, scientists say global warming is impacting the environment

“A series of photographs taken over 10 years has revealed the dramatic changes to one of New Zealand’s most famous glaciers.

The Massey University scientists who took the pictures – at the same time each year during surveys – say the changes to Fox Glacier on the South Island’s West Coast are also having a major impact on the surrounding landscape, with the valley rising by more than a metre in the last two years.

You must be located on Mars eh?

  29. Bill on Wed, 25th May 2016 6:20 pm

The underlying cause of all the anomalous things we have witnessed increasingly for a couple decades, is also occurring at the same time we are allegedly advancing as a species.

Simple thermodynamics shows that a sphere: of basically 4 materially and density dissimilar layers, including a thermodynamic extremely dense core; spinning in a continual energy source, will at a point be saturated with energy at the core, and superheated.

At that point (accelerated for a couple hundred years now) the superheated core must give up excess energy, and so net energy flow reverses through the respective layers in earth, with a completely different effect than during the energy absorbing phase of the cycle.

For one, magma everywhere heats, which expands it, creates more magma from surrounding materials, and convection currents accelerate exponentially. This slightly lifts, and jostles the tectonic plates, and volcanic, seismic, and tsunami events increase exponentially.

Meanwhile continental ice is melting, from beneath primarily, and this IS a Runaway Locomotive in terms of thermodynamic torque, and other factors.

Forget rising sea level. Forget the decimating of this or that species due to warming (I mean, it is inevitable, not that we should not sanctify the Gift of Life) it is irreversible.

When the magnetic force which is changing axis to keep; pull the earth upright right now, is overcome by isostasy-altering centrifugal force due to weight shift due to continental ice loss, which = continental mass, the magma-suspended, floating tectonic plates will move radically laterally to re-balance isostasy mechanically, including accompanying sinking and folding of plates – some moving up to 2000 miles.

It is beginning with Antarctica primarily as effects of continental ice mass loss and weight redistribution are exponential at the pole, which is also a massive single tectonic plate. The math is in Earth’s Shifting Crust, Hapgood.

I don’t understand all the snide remarks and anti-religious, anti-christian snarkiness with this article. It’s about volcanic activity in our nation and around the world. Do liberals, Leftists, and atheists find any article about earth rumblings as an unusual chance to totally turn it around as a rant against God, Jesus, the Bible and Christians?! I find the responses even more interesting than the article itself.

Cathy, do not be afraid of saying what is on your mind. Oh care what anyone of us thinks. I find your post very heartfelt and simple and direct. Yes, unless your living in Mars everyone now knows that our species and the very fabric of life are facing an existential crisis. As penury states we admit it and offer some any solution or simply point out that any control is no longer in humanities hands. I believe that climate change is the killing shot that would render us and most life extincts as per the science. So thus I believe we must all now decide between the malignancy of Industrial Civilization or a living planet. And by now I mean NOW

I tend to wonder why nothing has been said about Mt. Lassen in the northern portion of California. It last erupted in the very late 1800’s or early 1900’s. It reminds me of a tiny Yellowstone with mud pots and little geysers. At least that’s the way it was in the late fifties.

  35. makati1 on Wed, 25th May 2016 8:11 pm

Thomas, it is the bible thumping narrow minded people who are causing the problems with their “god will take care of it and if he doesn’t I will go to a better place after” bullshit that makes our predicament worse than it needs to be.

Too many of them are in places of power and are a source of misinformation to those who need to see reality. Catholics and Mormons are still preaching big families. Jews are still preaching power and wealth. Muslims just want everyone to be like them. And on and on. All negative to the real problems we face.

It took me 50 years to see the bullshit that religion is, and I am glad I did not brainwash my kids to have that disability. They chose for themselves when they became adults. I had no choice and was raised as a Protestant. Later switched to Mormonism and then saw reality and became an atheist. Now I enjoy real freedom.

  36. energy investor on Wed, 25th May 2016 8:11 pm

I am happy to sit on the fence, as I have no need to adopt one of the “religious” climate theories or the other. As a prudent step I restrict my fuel useage, just in case I am wrong. 75% of my electricity is from renewable sources and I have a wind generator and solar panels.

If anyone has proof that humans are adding materially to the impact of the current interglacial trends, then let me have it. But where I live there is no evidence of abnormal anthropogenic climate change, just entrenched positions by both sets of advocates.

At least I look at both sides of the debate. And yes it is still a debate between contesting theories.

  37. energy investor on Wed, 25th May 2016 8:35 pm

Just saw the notes above on Fox Glacier. I was there last year. The folks at Dept of Conservation have kindly put pegs in place, where the retreat had taken place year after year since white folks arrived. So the extent of retreat is visible. from 19th Century.

The argument made by the guy in the video I attached is that the climate is always changing and we are still in a warming pattern.

The fact that both Fox Glacier’s retreat and the 1900 hurricane that destroyed Galveston (Read the book “Jacob’s Storm”) is forgotten.

Now there are more of us living on the coast, the cummulative effect of the years that there has been one or more milimeters of rise each year in sea level is both a surprise to those who have ignored it and evidence of catastophe for scientists who find it too convenient to ignore.

Given what happened to Galveston, was the impact of Katrina really an indictment of global warming, or a tribute to the idiots who chose to build on low lying land afterwards? You tell me?

Meantime if I see eveidence that causes me to climb down off my fence, I will consider it. I have been studying the counter arguments since 2004, and would love to be certain enough to make up my own mind one way or the other.

  38. makati1 on Wed, 25th May 2016 8:43 pm

SherrieS, most Americans like to pretend that only other countries have problems. It’s part of their “exceptionalist” upbringing. That Yellowstone is long overdue to blow it’s top is ignored, even though it will destroy America and cause havoc all around the planet. While the movie “Supervolcano” may have been exaggerated some, or maybe understated, I think it portrayed what will happen very well. But then, ignorance is bliss.

Who gives a fuck what you think anyway? Nobody! What difference would it make if you changed your mind? None! How powerless are you to change anything? You are completely impotent! These questions were all rhetorical, but I gave you the answers anyway because you are obviously a moron.

  41. Apneaman on Wed, 25th May 2016 10:14 pm

energy investor, people like you, white, male, hardcore conservatives (John Key your boy?) will never come down from the fence no matter how much evidence there is. Your worldview is your religion (same part of the brain). Like Juan said it does not matter since we’re powerless in the face of the system. It also does not matter from a physics stand point either since there is already enough inertia to take the humans out and we are not stopping, nor will we. That will just make it come faster. I’ve pointed out to other deniers how peculiar they are in that they are arguing because they do not want to see fossil fuel use stooped or slowed, yet every year since the big global warming debate went public, 1988, there has been more fossil fuel burned each consecutive year. In spite of getting exactly what they want, they have gotten louder, dumber, and more aggressive each consecutive year. It’s the most peculiar behavior from any group I have ever seen. The more things go their way the bigger the temper tantrum….????? Only fundamentalists act like that. Don’t worry about coming down from the fence – The fence is on fire and is about to collapse under your ass.

The CERN collider or particle accelerator is 100000times the magnetic force of the earth and is being used to free those titans mentioned in the book of Jude and 2nd peter from the abyss of chains which is scientifically the earth’s core , melting it and thus realeasing magma, sulphur and heat across the tectonic plate of the earth and sea beds resulting in the poisoning and death of aquatic animals, relocation and death of birds and crabs like what happened on Orange island and the Argentina island, earthquakes and hot temperature rises across the world .
Our evil scientists are to blame and not their popular cover story called “global warming”.

Ap, Michael is the perfect example of “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing”.

I believe the U.S. will be the last location to experience the earthquake and volcanic activity directly. I could be wrong about that but believe it is because most of the people who still have the capacity to see the truth are in the U.S. and what happens in the U.S. first is going to look like the huge increase in school shootings, terrorism of all kinds, people who will no longer hold their anger and hatreds and biogtries in, intolerance of others led by pseudo religionists and those that hate the pseudo religionists and that will also stimulate a bigger and bigger security state to address that will lead to the “marks” to operate in public areas that without one won’t be able to buy and sell. It’s a time of reconning to whom we show our allegienc to between The realistic Above Human Beings who designed everything, even the option to ignore them so to show what we each are made of as kin to Them or to the human evolutionary kingdom – said as “mammon” – human forms of treasure and wealth whether intellectualism or spiritualism or environmentalism or even humanitarianism, some of which are very good steps and behaviors but at this time we must all decide to give Them our allegience first and it’s going to be the toughest choice anyone can make because they were here in the flesh like predicted. The return of the Living Beings who were named the Father and Jesus 2000 years ago came back as Ti and Do and were the ones who exited as the Heaven’s Gate “cult of truth” where the human kingdom is saturated as a cult of misinformation – mis-truth pertaining to our reality. They (Ti and Do) are waiting to hear from some. They can hear our thoughts if we send them to Them and they have bases throughout the literal heavens but of late shown on Ceres and Pluto. They are NOT space aliens. The space aliens are the ones recorded as “fallen angels” who more or less run the human kingdom and is the reason governments are preparing for the end by building underground bases and trying to get off the planet.

sawyer, yes, the chaos in the Us is increasing exponentially. It is going to be a long hot summer in more ways than one.

I put my faith in natural laws and call them “Mother Nature”. She respects no nation, border or people. I suspect that the Us is not going to safe from her wrath in the coming years.

As for the rest of your comment, an interesting hypothesis, but a long way from reality, I think.

God promised to withdraw support from the earth so people could repent, but spit more on God’s face. What do you really again expect? Distress of higher magnitude: volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, power play competitions and etc etc. The Bible tells us that we have been given eyes yet we don’t see, ears to hear yet we don’t. Let’s brace ahead with Gods’ anger in full measure!

WHAT DOES ALL THESE ENTAIL? GOD IS BREAKING “FALSE POWER” OF OF ENSLAVERY. FORCEFUL CONTROL, OPPRESSION, AND POST-COLONIAL INTIMIDATION.GOD’S REAL POWER IS MANIFESTING MARKING THE END OF THE AMERICAN DREAM. ACCORDING TO MARTIN LURTHER KING JUNIOR quotes : “I’LL BREAK THEIR POWER AND GIVE IT TO A NATION THAT DOES NOT KNOW MY NAME AND BY SO DOING PEOPLE OF ALL NATIONS WILL KNOW THAT THERE IS GOD.”

apneaman, you have a point about the proof being in the DNA and the mixing of Neanderthal. And you are correct that the genes occur in all humans except sub-Saharan Africans. But you are incorrect that it was “whitey”. the non-lying DNA also shows that it was brown people that migrated from the Sub-Sahara that mated with Neanderthals. the evidence supports that “whitey” is a very very new trait. Maybe even less than 10-15 thousand years. The DNA also shows that the Neanderthal hangover is almost gone. Its essentially being bread out over time

It was Sub-Saharan people who invented science, religion, government, mathematics, language and populated the earth, what is your point? I wonder if these individuals mating with neanderthals is what made us if we are so new? Are we just a bunch of mutts? Sincerely big pale ape.
