Sure the economy has been in the toilet for 5 years running now, but surely people worried about their jobs, incomes, retirements, etc. should be able to smile and trust in those happy thoughts of HOPE and CHANGE that so moved the nation in 2008 for just a few more years?

Obama may have finally hit on a way to use the sequester to hit middle class Americans and the US business community. He's reducing the number of air traffic controllers through furloughs causing large delays in air travel across the USA.

Funny how Obama can find all the money he wants to hand out free Obamaphones to his supporters, and can ship off two billion dollars to the oil-rich Iraqis, and $150 million to the al Quaida linked Syrian free army and spend billions on supplying US-made jet fighters and other military aid to the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt, at the same time he chooses to cut staff engaged in US air traffic control.


Obama has got plenty of money to fund Obamaphones and aid to Iraq and the Islamist Syrian rebels, but he is cutting US air traffic control---Jeez what a dope!!

Obama spent over a month ranting about how the evil sequester was going to cause the end of human civilization unless it was repealed. Over and over again swore that he wouldn't make piecemeal changes to the sequester---oh no---Obama was going to be tough and not give in this time. If the evil republicans came crawling to him to fix the sequester, then Obama just might help out----but only if the evil republicans would give in to obama's plans to cut social security and raise taxes as the price of fixing the sequester.

However, when rich people started to be inconvenienced by travel delays after the BO administration stupidly cut the air traffic controllers, people started to complain and Obama instantly caved in signed a bill to fix the travel delays. It took all of two days. The President gave in almost immediately and and abandoned his promise to end the sequester. So, it looks like the sequester stays in place thanks to Obama's weakness.

Once again the threat by Obama to stand firm for his own "red line" turned out to be empty bluster. No wonder his nickname in DC is "president creampuff".

The MSM is all atwitter because the unemployment rate ticked down to 7.5% today.

But somehow they are ignoring the fact that the broader measure of unemployment---the U6 count that includes "discouraged" workers and other folks the Obama administration wants to disappear---went UP again to 13.9%

Sorry to say, the WORST RECOVERY EVER just got even worser.
