Here's a big load of crap from that notoriously socialist rag Forbes.com.

They completely ignored some huge factors that could, (or should), go into any reasonable persons assessment of what makes a countries people happy. For instance, no mention of the fact we have one of the widest gaps between the rich and poor in the world. Our rich aren't just rich, they're much, much wealthier than everyone else. And if our elites suffer want, doesn't that really make all of us feel bad?
We also are capable of completely dominating the airspace of any third world banana republic we choose, TOPGUN baby, Maverick and Goose baby, who's your Daddy now beeyotch?
Our economy is HUGE!!!!! We have like the biggest amount of domestic product in the world, that kind of pride makes ALL of us much, much happier. I know I get tingly all over when I think of how big our product is!
And what about the satisfaction that only comes from success, especially success that either comes at the expense of someone else, or simply the joy of making it while so many others around you fail. I'm #1, I'm #1!!!!!
Seriously, if having a good job and lots of toys while simultaneously preaching about how everyone who doesn't is a loser,.... is not one of the great joys of being American, I don't know what is.

Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave
