$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Narz', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jotapay', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Narz', 'H')ow about $3,000 for a pound of it?

$187 per ounce? Are you high?

Roccman thinks it's in the cards.

I have a 32 ounces of extremely rare di-hydrogen oxide which I've been saving for a rainy day. I'll let it go for a mere $1500.

Ok. I read 16 99.9% silver coins as... well, coins! I had no idea exactly what kind of coins they were.

If they're silver rounds, they're yours. I can get one oz silver rounds locally, 16 for $184, with no freight if I ride my bike to get them. :)

If he don't want my $184 BT, he sure as heck won't take your $181. Maybe he's holding out for $3,000!

Maybe if I'm ever dropped in the middle of the Nevada desert by some mobsters. I'll expect express delivery within two hours.

Edit : sorry Tyler, should have just put it in Open to begin with.

I bought silver with my credit card

Unread postby oswald622 » Wed 15 Oct 2008, 14:35:20

Good idea? Bad, great, terrible?

It was 20 oz of American Eagle coins for a little under $400. Free shipping. I'm figuring that inflation will outpace my interest rate over the next year.

You bought silver on credit? IMO, that is one of the worst decisions you could make. Speculating on credit?

In case you completely haven't noticed what's going on these days, the whole financial mess was caused by speculation using over-leveraged credit.

I hear they have these things called HELOCs. Maybe you should look into getting one of those and gambling with that money too.

It's not a bad idea as long as you pay the credit bill in full when you get it... That's what I always do, so I never pay interest. All for me and none for them. :)
