I believe this is entirely php - not a client of an IRC channel. The IRC approach would be better though in my opinion.

This is a PHP script, and is just until we have a better solution

I enjoyed talking to you and discussing the shortcomings of my peers in Mod-dom.

Seriously, you folks should try getting connected. It is very cool; Aaron, admin and I had a great talk that ranged from trolls to militias to Saudi Princes to Y2K.

Let me know if you have tech probs., I’m no wirehead and I got it going - it’s easy.
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

You observed it from the start
Now you’re a million miles apart
As we bleed another nation
So you can watch you favorite station
Now you eyes pop out your sockets
Dirty hands and empty pockets
Who? You!

My computer is acting freaky and keeps knocking me off line at home... but if I can get things straightened out by then, I'll be there! :D

Unread postby Ayoob » Mon 16 Aug 2004, 09:10:05

I just checked, and it works. Any interest in scheduling a chat?

I get a connection refused at the moment, I stuck my head in earlier and it loaded. I'd try IE but I'm using Linux. :)

TeamSpeak

Unread postby Aaron » Tue 17 Aug 2004, 09:33:29

If anyone wants to learn more about this Voice IP application, and play with the server to get experience with it:

http://69.22.22.83:14534/

This is just my personal computer running the server, so it's not really scalable, but if we use this solution as an audio component on PO, then we can rent a real TS server from a host, (or maybe get space donated).

In any event, you can mess with this little TS server running here to get acquainted, so to speak.

There's great documentation for this FREEWARE solution on their website, and feel free to ask questions.

Log in as your regular PO name, and check the SA box... (pass=letmein)

Goll darn complicated world anyway.

I can sign up for the TeamSpeak.org forum and see if I can float the quesiton about cut-in/cut-out.

Might be awhile before I get an answer. Aaron, are you already signed up with them?

[couldn't find any other answers anywhere else there. maybe didn't look hard enough?]

Dan is a brain...

connect your teamspeak client applications to:

peakoil.com:8767

The admin tool is not up yet, so no custom junk.

When we get the PS server locked down, we can announce it for PO members!

Kudos Dan

Last Night on Peak Speak

Admin, Aaron, MonteQuest, Petro, Pops and Soft_Landing discussed a variety of topics including the possible severity of conditions in the post-peak world, what actually defines a “die-offâ€
