$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('FrankK', 'H')e also explains why the U.S. is going to war with Iran, why war was with Iraq. Gas could be $1.50 gal. now but World Bank would Bankrupt the U.S. How this was all set up with the Mid East. Video is 75 mins. If you just fluff this stuff off, that is why they get away with it. Check it out. He worked with the oil workers and wow! He learned alot. If it is true we are in dire trouble...worst than Peak Oil. link

You are wading into shark infested waters here Frank. Everyone here knows about the Reverend. I'm glad you decided to join though, let me know if I can answer any questions.

God bless.

Do a search - several threads on this wing nut.
Massive Human Dieoff must occur as a result of Peak Oil. Many more than half will die. It will occur everywhere, including where you live. If you fail to recognize this, then your odds of living move toward the "going to die" group.

I tried listening to what this guy said on youtube once but had to stop listening after 3 or 4 minutes.

He was clearly clueless. Most of what he said was based on hearsay.

Some anonymous oil exec would tell him something and he took it as gospel. Armed with no more evidence than that he wrote a book which he has been flogging the guts out of ever since.

What gets me about the good Reverend is the people in my personal life who are sending me emails with links to his video.

They are intelligent and otherwise aware people. They all know where I stand regarding PO.

What that tells me is that they cannot let go of the idea that cheap oil is coming back, and that they wish to blame someone for the current predicament rather than looking in the mirror.

Denial is a powerful thing. William's disciples are in a dangerous form of denial.

Funny ....I can't find my post...

Looks like the sharks ate it up,ha,ha....I knew I wouldn't be preaching to the chior when I posted it. Was it removed? I can't find it. I beleive the guy and Peak Oil or abundant Oil, the World Bank planning on making North America into a 3rd World equivilant is the big story here....It is a much bigger picture, they get away with it because people fluff it off worrying about if there is oil or not instead.

But, but, but... he was a minister who served as a "missionary" to oil pipeline workers, that must make him an energy expert clued in to the deepest secrets of Big Oil.

At the rate the price of oil is falling, gas may fall to $1.50 gallon even without drilling.

Perhaps Plant but I shudder to think what that would indicate about the state of our economy. Hard to imagine prices getting that low with a sever depression here.

Does it make "Drill, babe. Drill." a moot point?

V,

I suppose that depends on what you think gasoline will be selling for in the next 7 to 10 years when a much of that new production could come on line. It would also be a great time to start increasing motor fuel taxes as many have already adjusted to the higher prices to some degree. Onew thing I would bet on: with demand rising due to lower prices and oil investments declining for the same reason, it's easy for me to foresee OPEC finally becoming a functional cartel a lot sooner than later. Perhaps not this year but in 2 or 3 years? Time will tell.

But since our political system does not allow policy adjustments effecting us any further than 4 years out (at most) I'll assume nothing will change.
