$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('eastbay', 'O')dd. Everyone knows Dachau was only a jail and related work camp. Do you mean no more jails? Or no more putting inmates to work?
Anyhow, I have no problem with detainees working for their lodging and food. It seems like a sensible approach and I applaud Israel for this measure. All nations should follow this lead if they're not already doing so.
Eastbay, not only i have not problem with detainees working for their lodging and food, but i think that is the way it should be done. What I have a problem with, is with work camps, run by governments; remember that under the Nazi regime, Jews were told that they would go to relocate to farms in new conquered lands too, not that they would be the prime component for german soap. And when it comes to human rights Israel has a less than stellar record to put it mildly.
