You are aware that the Russians started experimenting with tectonic weaponry as early as 1970 under projects "Vulcan" and "Mercury", right? And that they did have some success with subterrainian nuclear detonations near geologically active areas, right? And that the only reason the research stopped is because the Soviet Union collapsed, right?

I'm not saying Americans caused the earthquake. I have no evidence to support such a claim, and Haiti does sit along the Caribian Volcanic Arc, so the likelyhood of a natural earthquake is high. But before you dismiss the idea as random tinfoil, you need to be aware that the technology is neither revolutionary or complex.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Pretorian', 'w')ell we need to clear up something here. Many of IQ researches were instigated by the fact that many blacks that do have same IQ as a white retard do not act as such socially. So, if IQ of 70 is a bordeline retard for White, it isnt for a Negro.
As for wealthy/middle class haitians most of them are mulattos with aevrage IQs anywhere from 80-85 to 95 or even a 100 depending on how much european ancestry the have.

Don't even get me started about the inherent cultural bias in IQ tests...

You must have IQ tests that address the culture of the people you are testing. Like if Renee has twelves chilluns, and 5 die from starvation and Pappy beats one to death, how many chilluns does Renee have left?

That being said, I guess IQ tests are written by culturally-biased Asians, since Asian Americans seem to fare so well on them compared to inferior whites. (And isn't 1/4 of MIT Asian? People even joke about MIT=Made in Taiwan)

Seriously though, its obvious Pretorian supports Rushton's views http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Philippe_Rushton; I myself am unsure. I'm not sure if it is a result of my natural skepticism or that I'm not entirely comfortable with his conclusions.

That being said, an important point would be that even if the views are correct, intelligence doesn't not mean superiority. In nature adaptability is what counts. What is "superior" in one environment is not necessarily "superior" in a different environment and humans are fairly unique in how many environments we exist in.

One could point out that a lot of "intelligent" people have made a muddle out of things.

That's a math issue. They have more students in the top 25th percentile in China than we have total students. The fact that they can excel at western-written IQ tests and gobble up seats at prestigeous western universities is a testement to the power of demographics. The ones who come to America and attend MIT are second-tier students who couldn't beat the competition for spots in Chinese schools.

Quick question....whats your take on the faked moon landings, and the involvement of the Roswell aliens as part of a conspiracy to keep the world from learning of their base near the Sea of Tranquility?

Wow. That's crazy stuff, SoS. I'll have to look into that.

But Iraq had NOTHING to do with OIL, eh SOS?

Silly question. American foreign policy has included oil as a consideration since at least the beginning of the last century...as far as Iraqi oil...we're busy leaving the joint without a single super tanker to our credit. How ridiculous is that? And yet....you are arguing we traded all those known billions of barrels for maybe some small fields in...Haiti? Please....our government really is pretty stupid sometimes, but its hard to sell anyone on the idea that they are THAT stupid. Well...maybe you could sell it to Ruppert, but thats really dredging the bottom of the barrel.

Of course. You see....because someone thought about / experimented with / funded a study on once, then OBVIOUSLY that is enough evidence to PROVE that Americans did it to Haiti....for all their oil, if Mcgowan's implications are to be considered. There wasn't enough in Iraqi, so using a tectonic weapon on...Haiti rather than say...Saudi Arabia or Iran, makes PERFECT sense.

I'd say China paid us back for invading Iraq by cyber-snooping on Exxon and company, to outmaneuver us in Iraq and get the bids.

Pretty slick, we do the fighting and China reaps the rewards.

The Haiti story appears to have fallen off the radar but there have been some important developments not in Haiti itself but in Florida. Florida hospitals are straining to the breaking point under a flood of Haitian medical refugees. These charity cases threaten to bankrupt Florida's hospitals who are now turning away patients according to the Miami Herald. Gov. Charlie Crist formally asked the federal government Wednesday to have other states' hospitals receive future patients who come to the United States. So watch out as the flood heads North and your state is left on the hook for millions in charity hospital bills. This is something MSM won't tell you.

Note also how fast the reversal of airlifts took place.

Note also how the MSM is siding with the Missionaries.

"
"We will reunite them with their parents or with their relatives because we already know that some of these children still have parents," Mr Willeit said.

"An elder girl, maybe eight or nine years old, told us crying 'I am not an orphan. I do have my parents. I thought I am going to a boarding school or to a summer camp. We don't know exactly - to the Dominican Republic. I do have my parents.'"

George W. Bush (remember him?) wasn't kidding when he discounted the function of objective reality in our national life, saying, "we make our own reality." This apparently hasn't changed much with a new chief at the top.

Food convoys attacked by armed gangs, escaped prisoners roaming the countryside, child rape and trafficking gangs operating in Haiti.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100202/ap_ ... i_violence

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'G')ENEVA – The United Nations says the security situation in Haiti is "stable but potentially volatile" in the wake of last month's earthquake.

The U.N.'s humanitarian office says an armed group attacked a food convoy at the Jeremie airport in the southwest of the country.

It says U.N. peacekeepers fired warning shots and there were no injuries.

The global body says Haitian national police are stepping up patrols to prevent violence and apprehended 33 escaped prisoners on Saturday.

U.N. spokeswoman Elisabeth Byrs said Tuesday several hundred prisoners are still believed to be on the loose after their prisons collapsed in the Jan. 12 quake.

Four U.N. human rights experts also warn of growing risk of Haitian children being abducted, enslaved or trafficked.

Haiti earthquake: voodoo high priest claims aid monopolised by Christians

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')ax Beauvoir, Haiti's "supreme master" of voodoo, alleged his faith's opponents had deliberately prevented much-needed help from reaching followers of the religion, which blends the traditional beliefs of West African slaves with Roman Catholicism.

"The evangelicals are in control and they take everything for themselves," he claimed. "They have the advantage that they control the airport where everything is stuck. They take everything they get to their own people and that's a shame.

Religious insanity in Haiti

Haitian voodoo leader vows 'war' after attack on ceremony
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '[')b]Haiti's supreme voodoo leader vowed "war" on Wednesday after Evangelicals attacked a ceremony organized by his religion honoring those killed in last month's massive earthquake.
The attack on Tuesday in the capital's sprawling Cite Soleil slum came with religious tensions rising, as Protestant Evangelicals and other denominations recruit in the wake of the earthquake that killed more than 200,000.

"It will be war -- open war," Max Beauvoir, supreme head of Haitian voodoo, told AFP in an interview at his home and temple outside the capital.
"It's unfortunate that at this moment where everybody's suffering that they have to go into war. But if that is what they need, I think that is what they'll get."
The quake also left more than a million homeless and left much of the capital and surrounding areas, in this Caribbean nation of more than nine million, in ruins.

Police said a pastor urged followers to attack the ceremony, resulting in a crowd of people throwing rocks at the voodoo followers.

Rosemond Aristide, police inspector in Cite Soleil, said he has since spoken with the pastor, who agreed to allow voodoo ceremonies to take place there.
However, Aristide could not explain why no arrests were made nor provide further details.

Beauvoir claimed hundreds of Protestant Evangelicals along with other people they hired attacked the ceremony, causing a number of injuries.
