Many people, myself included, predicted that when things got hot for the neocons, be they American or British, they would react like cornered animals and things could get very scary--for everyone. That your entire country appears to be suffering even more, due to this act of terrorism, fits very well with the criminal conspiracy model. I've given up on trying to sort through all of the information, disinnormation and counter-disinformation flying around about everything these days.

The one "conspiracy theory" I am pretty convinced of is peak oil. After that I'm just trying to keep my head above water.
