Thats not how it works. People with the ccr5 receptor mutation have a
slightly lower chance of contracting a
few clades of HIV. If a vaccine was introduced that gave everyone protection on the ccr5 receptor, it would have the effect of vaccinating the population through the slow attrition of infections. This does not grant the individual immunity. You still have the CXCR4 receptor wide open on just HIV-1, along with CCR3 and CCR8 for other clades. Its fairly plausible that other chemokine receptors are open to other strains of HIV:
