$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Revi', 'W')asn't 1920 the first year in the "twenties"? I know it's not fair, but people lump all the years in a decade together. Twenty-ten will be the first in the decade, whether it makes sense or not.
The last decade was 1990-1999. This one will be 2000-2009, and the next one will be 2010 -2019. I think...
You're not an accountant are you?
1920 was not the first year of the 1920's. By that logic we would now be in the 20th. Century because all the years begin with '20'.
The 20th. Century ended at midnight of December 31, 2000.
The way our years are defined, it all started at point Zero with the year One b.c. dating back from that point and the year One a.d. dating forward from that point, so that at the end of the first decade of the First Century a.d. it was the end of the year 10 and it came forward from there.
I know, common practice and understanding is not always consistent with truth or reality.
