$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('DryGuy', 'T')he audacity of hype
There is a new blunder by this inept bunch daily. It's is amusing to watch but then you think ..wait a second ..We are going to have to try to clean up this mess when they are gone in 2010 & 2012 and then it's not funny anymore.
Would anyone have believed that BHO would be in the spot he is in now so soon after being sworn in, at the height of his power? He was ready to part seas and lower the sea levels. Now what?
What wonderful "choices" are we going to get in 2012?
As IF the corporations are not going to own whoever runs in 2012.
For those who still voting does anything more than make you think you're doing something, do you have an answer for this?
I elect John Doe as freshman representative to do reforms.
Assuming he was not unduly influenced by massive amounts of money donated by special interest groups, he goes into Congress with a reform agenda and gets promptly slapped into place by the Committees which are all run by senior (corrupt) Congressmen.
If he REALLY annoys them with reform talk, funding for projects in his Congressional district get yanked, and then on re-election campaign he is essentially knee-capped after having lost jobs in his district. John Doe either loses to the other party or to a party-backed person exploiting the job weakness.
Any realistic reasons on how you can vote to elect someone that can escape this?
And if not, doesn't your voting in November merely endorse and grant an air of legitimacy to a broken and unfixable system?
Maybe trying to organize a new constitutional convention might be a better use of time. I'd do it, but I see no point wasting my time on THAT endeavor either while roughly 50% of people are still putting useless faith in the voting endeavor because they still have faith in the system.
An ideology is by definition not a search for TRUTH-but a search for PROOF that its point of view is right
Equals barter and negotiate-people with power just take
You cant defend freedom by eliminating it-unknown
Our elected reps should wear sponsor patches on their suits so we know who they represent-like Nascar-Roy
