$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', '(')1) The only way to settle this issue and prove that Bush committed treason was for the Congress to impeach him and convict him of treason. This never happened.
That's some nice lawyering there, Lou. Is OJ Simpson innocent too? "If the glove doesn't fit, you can't convict!"
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', '(')2) I'm inclined to agree with Fishman above that similar unconstitutional things happen in all wars. For instance, Obama right now is using predators to blow up buildings full of people in Pakistan in the name of the
war against terror overseas contingency operation. To my knowledge, the congress has never authorized Obama to use military force and kill evil terrorists (and innocent people nearby) in Pakistan.
But this isn't about Obama right now, is it? This is about Bush. A year ago, people didn't have Obama around so Bush apologists had to use the all-too-familiar, "But... but... Clinton did this other bad stuff here! See?!" Nice to have Obama and a change of pace now, eh?
