Alex Jones is such a douche.

Sifting through the ashes every day

I cringe when I hear some of these things that he says. I wonder why he loses it like that. The crazy thing is that his guests put up with it somehow. They just let him rant and interrupt them constantly. Still, the guy does good research.

It's amazing that so many people here eat up this crap considering how all over the map this guy's Endgame theory is. Some people are just predisposed to believe in conspiracies. I believe they call these people, um, what is the term? TINFOIL HATTERS.

Alex Jones is nothing more than an exploitation engineer. He uses his trade for profit and the more outrageous he is the more success he sees. The more discerning individual can see through this smokescreen of conspiracy for what it is. He lacks credibility and makes up for this by being louder than anyone else. Typically this is not the way to win support or followers to your argument.

He is completely transparent and is glued to the fringe. Those who are blinded by his "style" will never find out whats really going on and will live each day in fear of that which is never going to come.

The entire issue of the FEMA death camps is a joke. It's sad how far some people can move away from reality when it stares them right in the face.

What's the riposte to the Death Camp theories, anyway? Have a friend with personally styled Reynold's Wrap chapeaux and am too lazy to take an interest in finding out what the official story is (supposed) to be. Also John Michael Greer dismissed it (along with a bevy of other examples of paranoia) at his blog the other day without (wasting space) providing countering evidence, it sparked my curiosity.

It's already publicly been admitted they tortured people at guantanamo bay. Killing people would just be one step up from that.

1. Japanese internment was 60 years ago. We're a different country now. That's like saying we're going to go back to segregated water fountains and lynch mobs.

2. We didn't torture innocent American citizens at Gitmo. We were torturing captured terrorists who were actively attempting to kill Americans. If you can't see the distinction between that, we live on different planets.

Regardless, this administration has promised to close the prison and send the prisoners to...somewhere else.

Not that I buy into Alex's crap, but I'll weigh in anyway.

To be fair often sometime foreigners are targeted for this sort of crap it starts moving onto the country's citizens, since they are "desensitized" to it and have been conditioned to accept it as "for the need of the motherland/fatherland/homeland". Things like that still shouldn't be tolerated, after all that doesn't make us any better than they are.

Like I said, not that I think anything of the so called fema death camps and whatnot.

Senate passes Obama domestic army bill, Alex J blows gasket

Postby Jotapay » Tue 24 Mar 2009, 15:15:47

The senate basically passed Obama's forced servitude bill, a domestic "army" as they called it. It will include 7 million people. I'm sure Obama will sign it with gusto.

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2009 ... te-hurdle/

Alex Jones blew a gasket today (3/24) on the show, about half way through. I thought he was going to have an aneurysm or stroke.

Where does it say secret or domestic army in that article? did I miss something?

The only places I see mention of a secret domestic military is on sites like worldnetdaily, whose opinon and statements are clearly subjective.

According to what I have read, this looks primarily like a peace corp and americorp enhancement. I am not going to say that something like this couldn't become a police / military force. I am just saying that is not the wording of this bill.

True. It was mostly funny, I'll have to find the video later tonight and post it. He was wigging out.

This may get interesting because all these states passing sovereignty laws specifically state that they will consider the constitution null and void if the government passes any involuntary servitude laws.

It's in the New York Times article. That is what some legislators are calling it. Ctrl-F and search "army" and then "million" for seven million.

No offense meant, but I have to respectively disagree with you. I believe that the idea behind this is actually quite good, and needed. I think this is something we should be doing. I myself since I am not going to be going into the army after all will sign up to do this starting next summer after I finish up my second degree.

I actually hope to spend the next 2 - 3 year volunteering to help people understand technology and to help those less privileged.

The argument that pisses me off though, is that people are moaning about 6 billion dollars over 5 - 6 years.

1) We wasted that in 2 years in just Iraq.
2) We are handing TRILLIONS to the wealthy banksters
3) This is helping others, that is a good thing.

What those people are saying amounts to nothing more that scaremongering. It is ridiculous.

To be honest, I'm not for or against it at the moment, since I don't know yet how it will be implemented. It all depends on implementation. Alex is totally against it, and if he's right, we're 100% screwed. Things like this do have a history of leading to abuse.

edit: Also, seeing how Obama has a pretty poor record with his honesty so far, I definitely don't have any reason to believe the stated purpose.

While I know I am beating a dead horse, I must state once again, that this is the same guy who believes in actual "lizard people" now this doesn't mean that he is always wrong (even a broke clock is right twice a day) but you have to admit that his judgement is at the very least, a little off.

I have not made up my mind either about Obama or his intentions. I do think he just another talking head, but I am not willing to "shit" on this, until we have more information.

Alex? While I can't confirm or deny this because I haven't heard him talk about the subject, I doubt this is true. The reason is that he does not talk about "UFOs and Chupabacras" (his words) and whatnot, he sticks to topics he can prove with expert testimony and the government's own documents. He tell this to his callers all the time when they start talking about Atlantis, Bigfoot or whatever.

Actually, I am thinking of David Icke, Alex Jones has just had him on his show. Though alex jones does go well outside the normal fringes of society.
